1. of course palestinians obsessed with terror definition
mike ,   israel (formerly usa   (09.09.08)
they always find a way to excuse, dismiss, or blame away their perverted ways. too bad they have so identified themselves with every form of terror that they, of course, could find a reason to object to innocent victims of their handicraft.
2. The UN symposium - this is huge huge
Yanni   (09.09.08)
Wow, this is NEWS the UN has a meeting where they talk. Let's hear about it for weeks on end we care so much /sarcasm off
3. World definition of terrorism
Arie ,   BaGolan   (09.09.08)
In the lexicon of the globe, with the Israeli leftists included (including media like Ynet and Haaretz) there is no such thing as terrorists when the attacks are against Jews and/or Israel. Then it is militancy or activism or an 'intifada'.
4. who terrorizes whom??
azinvaredonya ,   US   (09.09.08)
So help me understand, Betancourt is kidnapped & held against her will in the jungle & that is terrorism, but a millions people locked up in a prison called Gaza strip, denied food, electricity & medicine or movement & constantly being bombed isn't? That's right that would be closer to ethnic cleansing.
5. Are they going to name the 90% of today's world terrorists?
Genuine Tosefta ,   Tveria   (09.09.08)
There is no chance that any UN event will ever acknowledge that today's terrorism is embraced by hundreds of millions of Muslims either actively, financially, by encouragement or tacitly. Muslims are bound by the filth of the one book they ever need to read to commit terrorism. They simply cannot behave against it, otherwise they will be seen in their communities, Mosques, Madrassas as traitors to Islam and treated like unbelievers.
6. # 4 I Hope They Make That Case at the UN
Thomas   (09.10.08)
since Israel provides them electricity at the risk of their own employees who have been shot. They can complain they live under seige but that isn't illegal under international laws. In fact, the Arabs would scrap the idea of bringing up ethnic cleansing because Israel has only to parade the hundreds of Sudanese now living in Israel who've been ethnically cleansed from their homeland and we all know how sensitive Arabs are to that issue.
7. To the Palestinians
(09.10.08)
Too scared to address the fact that more Palestinians were victim of own Palestinian terrorism?
8. #6 since you asked!!
azinvaredonya ,   US   (09.11.08)
See Thomas, under articles of Geneva Convention Israel as an occupying power is responsible for the well fare of the population, including their electricity. 2ndly Living under siege may not be classified as terrorism but to say it isn't illegal is a bit of a stretch, but let me review a couple of articles of the Universal Declaration of Human rights: Article 1. All human beings are born free & equal in dignity & rights. Article 3. Everyone has the right to life, liberty & security of person. I also, appreciate the help that Israel extends to Sudanese, & it was certainly unexpected considering the entanglement of Israel & the South African Apartheid regime, hopefully the Ethiopian Jews living in Israel could eventually benefit from all this love, too & be considered equal to other Jews. p.s. don't worry, you're not the only racists high jacking a religion.
