1. Gush Shalom still trying to squelch opposing voices
Raymond in DC ,   Washington, DC USA   (09.10.08)
Left wing Gush Shalom obviously doesn't want to allow the voices of nationalists and "right wingers" to be heard. Gush is obviously happy with things as they are, given that Israel's "approved" stations are dominated by the left. The Gush folks are hardly ones to talk about "incitement", considering what they get away with. I've listened to only a smattering of net-casts put out by Arutz Sheva, but never heard the kind of ranting alleged here.
2. I would love to work for Gush Shalom
William Joyce ,   Tel Aviv   (09.10.08)
I have a rich radio experience giving over precisely the type of material that Gush Shalom excels in. My previous employer is unfortunately out of business now, but I'm still ready to go. Working for similar minded people would give me great joy. Haw Haw
3. Idiots. Regional is political
Adam Eliyahu Berkowi   (09.10.08)
They are claiming that a regional radio station should not be political. It is a ridiculous claim. Even in america, there is sucha thing as regional politics. One of the problems with the Israeli political system is that it is based on polish politics of the early 1900's where the party is the key. That led to socialism, not democracy. Israel is closer to that than to american democracy. That is why entire regions of the country can come under missile fire and they don't have a single politician they can turn to. The politicians must answer to the party and not the constituents. That is how Sharon was able to do the precisel what he was voted in to prevent. Forbidding a section of the country to have a media to express its views is fascism. But the left obviously has no problem with that.
4. UnDenocratic & Against Free Speech - Yup, That's them!!!

what's wrong in setting up a fascist radiop station in a region settled by fascist racists ?
8. I love Arutz Sheva Israel National Radio
Guy ,   Israel   (09.11.08)
I love Arutz Sheva and I listen to them in Hebrew and English on www.IsraelNationalRadio.com It's a shame they arn't on the radio anymore but at least I can download their free podcasts.
9. In a free country, no views are banned
Aaron ,   Baltimore, USA   (09.11.08)
but Israel isn't really a free country - Israeli law is based on English law, or rather the law applied by Englishmen to peoples they rules -- in a democracy, such as the USA, no form of political speech is banned, and on Amreican radio and television, one hears every perspective, even ones the government or the elites, disapprove of.
