If the mother and granfather are psychos, what about the father? I read that his DNA had to be sent from france for comparison. I t seems very cruel to me. The grandfathers seems to be an animal and the father just doesnt care one way or the other. If he cares, he would have been by his daughters side making plans for a proper burial. As far as the mother is concerned, she can use one of three arguments to justify her position 1) She did not know what happened to her little girl - I dont buy that because the girl went missing for 4 months and she made no effort to find her. If as she claims that the grandfather sent Rose to some school in France, then the very least she could have done was to try to talk to her by phone. 2) She could claim that she knew what happened but was afraid of the grandfather - I dont buy this argument either, for if she knew that Ronny had harmed little Rose, how could she be sleeping in the same bed with the murderer of child? 3) She can plead insanity, and I would buy that. She is insane and deserves to be locked up in a mental institution for ever. The Grandfather deserves the death penalty and the father should be castrated to prevent him from having any more children. If you father a child you should care! Had the millions spent searching for Rosies body been allocated for welfare services many of these tragedies would not have happened. We do not have funds for welfare and good police but we always have the funds and time to investigate the resulting tragedies.

Perhaps Rose died of a broken heart. Imagine, the child wasn't seen for 4 months. No one noticed. In cases like this, measures must be taken to protect the siblings and future children. The family has no right to those children or future children. Place the surviving children in the permanent custody of a loving family. As for the family. Lock them all up and throe away the key.
