The reason Israel is in this terrible and weak position visa vis her enemies, is because since Ariel Sharon, through Ehud Olmert, Israel has done nothing but capitulate, retreat and project weakness. Is it any wonder Israel's enemies are emboldened? Is it any wonder Israel's enemies are salivating over Jewish blood? What you are suggesting is to further retreat and to project more weakness. It wouldnt surprise me if Olmert said that through his back room negotiations he had reached a deal with Abbas which will be signed today just ahead of the Kadima primary on Tuesday.
