1. shame on our government!

Why should the french government be doing the honorable thing by repatriating the body of little Rose? Is our government too poor and/or too cheap to sponsor the repatriation of this poor little child?

Israel just spent how many months and how much money looking for this poor little girl? No effort or expense was spared. If France wants to do it's part in paying some homage to this poor little lost innocent soul why soul Israel not allow it? Rose was a international child and all good, loving people of the world feel no small loss. Well, except for yourself that is. Is there anything that happens in life you can't find a reason to be offended by? I tell you what, next time you go to the bathroom please look to see if you can dislodge that big assed bug that crawled up your rear. I believe the improvement in your outlook in life will make the effort worthwhile!

Good bye little angel, rest in peace inthe loving arms of Gd. We as a nation failed to protect you,may you now have the love and peace in heaven that you never had in life. Rest in Peace little one!
4. Life was never meant to be good for little Rose
Talula ,   Israel   (09.17.08)
First she is missing, then her decomposed body is found, now she can't even be buried in peace. What a tragic tragic end to such a short innocent life. Makes me sick to think that her father, Benhamin Pizem is getting all busy now - he was also accused of abusing her - now he wants to make out he's the good guy and injured party. I honestly hope the entire family never have any peace or direction in their sick lives. I hope they know only excruciating pain and suffering.
5. Re #1 - Israeli gvt. not at fault
Christy ,   Boston, US   (09.17.08)
According to reports, Rose was abused for most of her short life. In terms of years, she was with her father in France the longest. Her father abused her while she lived in France with him. France recognized her father's abuse and awarded custody to her mother. The mother brought her to Israel where she was again abused by her mother and grandfather. Rose was abused in both France & Israel. The only one who seemed to perhaps care for her was her Israeli great-grandmother; the one who reported her missing. I can't see how Israel should feel shame for the actions of the mother & grandfather. France tried to do good to Rose by removing her from her abusive father. Neither government should take the blame for the actions of this very disturbed family. Rose is now with G-d, where she won't be abused any longer!

Nobody is blaming the government of Israel for the abuse that took place, but I blame the government of Israel for being a cheapsake. What is the cost of a proper burial for this jewish angel and why should the government of France be paying for it? Are they more humane than us? Or we so accustomed to being cheapsatakes now?
8. The French side of Rose's family
Véronique   (09.17.08)
seem to have cared for her. Yes, her very young father Benjamin couldn't cope with bringing up alone his small daughter and was SUSPECTED of neglect and perhaps abuse, but both French grandmothers seem to have cared for the little girl (who had been living in a specialised French institution just before going to Israel after a bitter custody battle initiated by the young mother). What should be investigated is how exactly a French court decided it would be all right to give Rose to her mother, considering the lady had abandoned her husband and child to remain in a foreign country, sleeping with her husband's father. Was the judge aware of this ? If not, why not ?

point. Israel did it's part, France wants to do something too, and you still will take every opportunity to be offended for no reason. Reread my original post and please take my advise

You say "The only one who seemed to perhaps care for her was her Israeli great-grandmother; the one who reported her missing. " Not really. The Israeli great-grandmother sounds a bit dodgy too, and, well before she raised the alarm, the two French grandmothers had become worried and both initiated a complaint about a "worrying disappearance" with their local police stations, accompanied to a letter to the Israeli embassy.
