However, if the issue is one of national stability, then you will need the support of the majority of Israel to unify our country battered by corruption, dedicated enemies and a dangerous mistrust between sections of our own people. To continue propping up a narrow power base that only serves to perpetuate the above problems would only prove that maintaining power at any costs is of more importance than serving the national interest. Yes, I am a religious Jew who lives in a disputed part of Israel. Yes, also the majority of Israelis Jews happen to settle in other parts of Israel that many Arab nations wish to see free of 'any' Jewish presence. There will be many critical issues to place before Am Yisroel. I hope in your temporary position of power you can gain enough insight & wisdom to understand the key needs of all Israelis. Right now, after all that has transpired, which has brought our own government to the point of humiliation, we can only sink lower in our dealings with the world.
