So this poor guy has to resort to some 'round about' way, which is probably smuggling. Maybe some wealthy Egyptian will read the story and pay off whoever it is to get this poor kid enough of the drug.

I am sure that this drug is not manufactured solely in Israel, but even if it is it should be possible to get it from elsewhere. I order mine from Australia. The drug, pancrelipase, has many manufacturers and is not that difficult to obtain, but the official questioned couldn't be bothered and didn't care half a damn about the child. According to this information site, Creon 1000 is made in Germany. Anyone in Egypt with an Internet connection could find that. You guys at Ynet CERTAINLY could have found that! This story is a bit fishy...
