We were warned to stay away from Egypt. We must close the border before the Holiday rush and keep it close until the cold war with Egypt has ended and they can control there terrorist.

If they don't heed the warnings, we cannot help them. We will not pay the price of their stupidity.

I have just read in Jpost that there were no israelis among the kidnapped but germans, italian, romaniand and four egypt guides. I mean, this is indeed critical information and I would not expect from any serious newspaper some kind of game about these news...CNN, BBC, Al Jazeera, british and spanian newspapers are excluded from seriousness, of course....

We are responsible for our own faith. Stop spilling more paranoia on us. You want to live your life on your knees- do that, but dont you dare tell others to do the same.

Just make sure if you have kids back home, that your affairs are in order. Nobody is "living life on their knees" by obeying high terror alerts from the government. If anybody tells you to avoid Egypt, they probably are doing it because they care enough about your welfare.

I know that a lot can be blamed on the past Empires, Britain, France, Holland, Belgium, even Italy, but since then A LOT of water has flown under the bridge. Today, Africa is being raped and murdered slowly by a ruthless local extremist Muslims mixed-up with a nice dose of corrupt and barbaric African tribal leaders who do not hesitate to commit genocide in order to finance their obscene lives and hordes of concubines. There are no strongand positive leaders in Africa today. Africa will continue to bleed for generations until the tribal mentality and tradition of corruption and rape disappear. No, Africa cannot keep on blaming everybody else for its current misery. Not when billions in aid are pured in by international funds, heavily funded by the same past empires and then some more. There are no more empires in Africa. It is only Africans for Africa. But as usual, the Africans are cutting yet another branch they are sitting on - tourism. The other branches are local tradition, natural resources and nature in general. I won't be surprised if in 200 years Africa will be a barren desert just like Sahara, but who in Africa cares what happens in 200 years? As a matter of fact, who in Africa cares what happens to Africa tommorow?

What's the difference?

There is nothing wrong with the government issuing warnings, but I have to agree with you. If you let some cowardly 'terrorist' prevent you from doing something you want to do then they win. Fuque them!
