1. Let him rot in prison...

until he is sucked back into hell
2. Mordecai Vanunu (aka John Crossman) harmed Israel's security
Rivkah   (09.23.08)
and continues to vex Israel because he disagrees with the Samson Option. He does not understand that it is the Samson Option that will bring the Messiah he loves to stop the destruction of the earth and to judge those who have mistreated the Jews. Zechariah the Prophet tells us that. Mordecai Vanunu (aka John Crossman) has had a hard life and left the root of the tree of true faith to become a grafted on branch. I hope he understands God has not abandoned his promises to the Jews or His promise of salvation to Jews who are Jews in their hearts. The branch is not a separate religion from the root as the Christians pretend and the Jews think, too. Judeo-Christian is one religion if the faith is true faith.
3. Here's a way to make his sentence even SHORTER!
eli ,   haifa   (09.23.08)
Execute him! Then he will not be eating at taxpayer expense nor taking up valued space in a nice warm prison!
4. Alevai he won't live that long - the traitor!
Talula ,   Israel   (09.23.08)
5. 2 - I read your convincing post and came to the conclusion
(09.23.08)
you are indeed an idiot. Well done.
6. Convicted of 15 violations and he only gets six months?
Raymond in DC ,   Washington, DC USA   (09.23.08)
Psychiatrists could write volumes detailing Israel's self-destructive impulses. A simple assault in a barroom fight can earn one more than six months sentence. Vanunu has done, and continues to do, harm to the state's security. Yet his 15 violations merit only a slap on the wrist, and a reduced sentence because he's not feeling well.
7. #2 Just shut up!!! You're making a fool of yourself.

9. Vanunu VIDEOS: 2005, 2006, 2008
eileen fleming ,   Clermont, Fl. USA   (09.23.08)
In 1985, Mordechai Vanunu listened to his conscience and paid with 18 years in jail, most all of it in solitary. During those years the European Parliament, International Peace Bureau, Federation of American Scientists, American Friends Service Committee, Jewish Peace Fellowship, Episcopal Peace Fellowship all called for his release on humanitarian grounds. Amnesty International has classified Vanunu as a prisoner of conscience. In 1999, thirty-six members of the House of Representatives sent a letter to President Clinton calling for Vanunu's release from prison because they believed "we have a duty to stand up for men and women like Mordechai Vanunu who dare to articulate a brighter vision for humanity" On April 21, 2004 Israel released Vanunu from 18 years behind bars to house arrest in east Jerusalem, forbidding him to speak to ANY foreigner-but he does for NO government has the right to deny anyone freedom of speech and in that spirit I conversed with Vanunu on video in 2005, 2006 and 2008. 2008 is also the 60th anniversary of the UN Universal Declaration of Human Rights, upon which Israel's statehood was contingent upon upholding: Everyone has the right to freedom of opinion and expression; this right includes freedom to hold opinions without interference and to seek, receive and impart information and ideas through any media and regardless of frontiers. -Article 19 Everyone has the right to leave any country, including his own -Article 13:2 Eileen Fleming, Producer "30 Minutes With Vanunu" and "13 Minutes with Vanunu" which are freely streaming @ http://www.wearewideawake.org/

zionist forever   (09.23.08)
Vanunu got out of jail early first time round and every oportunity he got he was either trying to tell the world more of the little secrets he didnt get out first time round, trying to sneak out the country so he can say and do what he likes, condeming Israel for every little thing possible. The man has shown no remorse this time and has given no indication that if let out early he wont do exactly the same things. If his health is failing him then thats great leave him to die in jail and never be heard from again. Even better how about letting him out then a nice simple accident - car accident, an armed thief breaks into his home at night it goes wrong he is shot, drowns on the beach lots of ways to deal with the problem once and for all and save us a fortune.
14. Let him go
Mikesailor ,   Miami, FL   (09.23.08)
If the IDF can propose laws, and the courts enforce them, without a law actually being legally passed through the accepted means, isn't Israel a non-democratic state? Mr. Vanunu already served his sentence. How can any state calling itself civilized and subject to the 'rule of law' actually put up with this type of ruling. He is being singled out for this type of extra-legal punishment merely because he is exercising the right of any human being to speak to whomever he pleases. AAS to any 'Amercican" wespousing approval of these methods, you are poor excuses for US citizens, let alone human beings. Apparently the lack of due process doesn't bother you at all.
15. No longer actual Vanunu’s Case and Acts ¾ century ago
H.H.M. ,   jerusalem   (09.23.08)
No longer actual Vanunu’s Case and Acts ¾ century ago Let us finish for good „ the Vanunu Case “. He caused international headache, for Israel at the time many problems / harm, b u t this is over 20 years a g o. His case was brought before Israel Court’s, was found guilty and sentenced. - He serves the full time of his jail / court decided sentence. Upon fulfilled sentence all sorts of security regulation, which were not included in the juridical verdict and sentence were applied, restricting him, his daily life to a very large extend based upon “ being a continues security risk “. - Having not followed these administrative conditions / restrictions he again was sentenced to jail and upon his appeal his sentence was reduce with District Court interpretation “…In light of (Vanunu's) ailing health and the absence of claims that his actions put the country's security in jeopardy….” and his jail sentence was based on “…but it seems that the defendant has shown complete contempt of the orders….” - In view of this cognition of basic law’s versus administrative rules and since whatever he knew and so far allegedly did not tell – if any at all – apparently no longer causes any “ jeopardy to the country’s security “ let as all treat the Vanunu Case as something of the past and act accordingly by no longer being concerned with him lift and don’t re-enact his restrictions and forget about him.

17. 5,7,11: God has hidden from you some mysteries of faith.
Rivkah   (09.23.08)
How sad for you, but youare in the company of billions of other people who God has not revealed certain knowledge to, either. That is sad for you, but not for me.
18. Dovid you crack me up.

Whats up with Regina?
19. 14 Mike Sailor, Miami: It is worse in America...
Rivkah   (09.23.08)
Under the US Patriot Act, anyone who commits a misdemeanor of any kind including a traffic violation is defined as a "terrorist" which means the person can be arrested without a warrant and detained indefinitely without charges being filed if the person is moved to a different facility every two weeks OR if the person signs a medical treatment authorization at the jail. Then the person can be detained for a supposed mental disorder for being a terrorist on a misdemeanor and may not get out for years. That happens more often than you can imagine since it is not revealed very often in the newspapers. A lot of government abuse of authority is covered up. Watch Ted Gunderson's lectures from the Prophecy Club of Topeka, Kansas. He is retired from the FBI and a former Chief of the Los Angeles Bureau. He talks about a rogue element in the government at the local, state, and federal level there is no defense against who are not hel accountable for misuse of authority and filing false accusations and charges against people on direction from a shadow government not accountable to the people. So many people have been found innocent of murder after being convicted when DNA evidence was considered after the convictions that the Governor of Ilinois suspended the death penalty, as have some other Governors. How many people are falsely accused by District Attorney and police frame machines? Former Wall Street Journal Editor Paul Craig Roberts says that is so pervasive that he calls it the US INjustice system.

Some mysteries are apparently only revealed only to you. Isn't that special. In the US, once you have finished your sentence, there is no longer any way the State can impose restrictions on constitutional rights, ie. freedom of speech and association, much less imprison one for failing to follow such rules. For instance, the military cannot write a law concerning civilian citizens and then expect civilian courts to enforce them. But, I guess in Israel, anything the IDF does or says is automatically legal. Keep on listening to the 'voices' which impart their 'wisdom' only for your benefit. If you stop hearing them it can only mean you're getting better.
21. 10 Eileen: Vanunu's life has been sad, but he revealed
Rivkah   (09.23.08)
State secrets that enemies will use to attack Israel in the future by targeting Dimona. He put the whole country and that city in particular in jeopardy and should have been sentenced to life in prison or executed. When traitors are not executed, there is no deterence for others who have a grudge against the country and want to make a buck by betraying State secrets.
22. 20 Mikesailor: You must not read much news in America.
Rivkah   (09.24.08)
Serial rapists and child molesters are often put into indefinite lockdown situations AFTER their sentence is served in prison, to protect the public. The gunman who attacked Ronald Reagan is an example. He is STILL in lockdown after MORE than two decades even though no one died in the shootings. What you do not know may hurt you eternally or in this life because the Bible says, "My people perish for lack of knowledge." You certainly lack knowledge on some critical issues. At the time of Noah and the Flood, only EIGHT people were saved in an ark (ship) after Noah warned people for 120 years and no one outside his family listened. So it does not surprise me for you not to listen and order some Ted Gunderson lectures to understand the dangers that are engulfing Americans.

zionist forever   (09.24.08)
Its not weather he knows anything thats important anymore thats the problem itd the political damage he will do once he is free to say and do what he wants. He is going to be a regular on the lecture circuit and in the foreign media all the time criticising Israels political policies, saying how its wrong Israel has nukes but not Iran, saying there is no need for there to be a jewish state etc. He is a God to the anti Israel groups and howver minor enemy nuclear experts may be able to get something usful out of him. There is only one way to deal with Vanunu now and thats find a way to rehouse him 6ft underground and making it look like an accident then man isnt going to stop being an anti Israel celebraty as long as he is alive . If letting him go would shut him up for good then that would be a solution but the man has shown he is never going to keep his mouth shut and will allways be a rallying point for people wanting to do abit of Israel bashing. He can hurt Israel alot more today in than he ever could telling the media what he knew about Dimona.
