I am not a Zionist. I do not think that it is an ideology fitting the modern age and a modern Israel. However, to claim that it has nothing to do with the Jewish people is preposterous. It was an ideology that was absolutely necessary for the survival of the Jewish people. Some may argue that it still is. (Though I would disagree.) This is all a game of distraction using classic anti-semetic rhetoric. There is absolutely no point in any discussion with Ahmadinejad. His basic premises will never change. He should be brought up on charges of crimes against humanity, and not wined and dined like some celebrity. To treat him as such only validates his point of view.
