A bunch of hypocrites...break almost every Halachic rule during the year, then rush to a synagogue to pray that they will be forgiven.
3. Ger , what kind of Jew are you ?
Charles , |
Petach Tikva |
(09.30.08) |
A ger , convert in other words , has to follow the laws , and not to write on Rosh Hashanah . Otherwise you are'nt converet at all .

Oh, that was a typo. Anyhow, it still doesn't answer the question where did he 9% go.
And I sure don't expect you to have that answer.
12. Yakov , i have an answer !
Charles , |
Petach Tikva |
(10.01.08) |
Those 9 % did'nt answer .
Well, I can understand if some don't want want to answer. That would be OK. I really do hope its not because 9 per cent are atheist. That would be a bad sign.
For 10% to be atheist is too much of a loss that in the long run could diminish the numbers further. That needs to looked at.
14. Yakov , you did'nt read well
Charles , |
Petach Tikva |
(10.03.08) |
54 % responded that they won't participate in prayers at all . I'm amongst them . The last time i was for "prayer" in a synagogue was at the "Shabbat Kalah" of my daughter , That's around 20 years ago .
15. Charles, why? What keeps you away?

16. Yacov , i'm not believing at all
Charles , |
Petach Tikva |
(10.05.08) |
That's it . And i'm not a hypocrite , who does everything not allowed the whole year , and then goes to Beth Knesseth Yom Kippour . I'm not saying that you are a hypocrite of course , you are a believer , fine for you .
