1. This is a travesty!! Where are her principles??
Gene ,   NYC   (10.03.08)
I really hope this doesn't come to fruition. The LAST thing Israel needs right now is to throw even more money down the Haredi drain when the education system and the military are both in shambles!! The Haredim have gotten enough gifts from the Knesset, it's time they get their heads out of the books and get to work!!
2. Left wing court denied Deri = no coalition with Shas
redmike ,   Tel Aviv   (10.03.08)
Shas played for time to see if Deri would be able to run for mayor. If Shas had said 'no' to the coalition before the court issued its verdict then the court would obviously have refused Deri almost without deliberation. So Shas waited. The court has made its decision and we can now expect Shas to back away from a coalition. Sounds Machiavellian? I might be wrong of course and will have to publicly eat my hat :-) Mike
3. to number one: Kadima?? Principles? HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Moshe ,   Beit Shemesh   (10.03.08)
Kadima is the party of NO principles - just pure power grab and opportunism. so they have no problem, for example, with CONVICTED SEX OFFENDER Haim Ramon as Vice PM. NO PRINCIPLES - just a bunch of money-grabbing crooks.
4. prostitution is a big problem in Israel
zionist forever   (10.03.08)
Of course $ha$ are more than happy to return. They pretend to be a religious right wing party but in reality they stand for nothing and will back any left wing decision including plans to give up Jerusalem as long as they get their pay off. More child welfare to pay for all the children the $ha$ haredi voters cant afford to keep and they will support anything. They are the prostiutes of Israeli politics and I even Olmert is more respectable than they are ... he at least stands for something ( coruption & damaging Israel ) and he doesnt pretend $ha$ pretend to be a religious party but they will support the most anti Israel anti judaism policies if the price is right.
