1. disappointed
Sobieski ,   Germany   (10.03.08)
the spains really do not understand anything! Going directly from inquisition to islamic fundamentalism is really smart ! Jews and christians (or what is left of them) should stand together against Hamas &Co !
2. Support Basque freedom
(10.03.08)
The Basque are a people and a culture entirely different from the Spanish who have no other homeland. A free Basqueland would be part of Europe, Spain would not be harmed in any way. Despite this, the Spanish insist on keeping their domination of the Basque, including by torture, sadism and extrajudicial killing. Israel should issue warrants for the Spanish politicians and military members involved in the oppression and murder of Basque militants. Israel should provide the Basque militants with moral, economic and military support.
3. and murdering millions of Indios in South America
Charles   (10.03.08)
was NOT a crime ?? Hypocrit Spaniards !!
4. IHL - that's the issue
observer ,   israel   (10.03.08)
targeted killings have to follow several rules, as stipulated by the israeli high court of justice in 2006. therein the israeli judges argue that international humanitarian law IHL has to be applied - that's the point. so why to be surprised if spain, newsealand, england and others are doing just what the israeli judges were saying
5. Hamas is being responsible for everything that goes on ...
Robert Bernier ,   Tel Aviv   (10.03.08)
Hamas is being responsible for everything that goes on in the Gaza area. The responsibility for the casualties among Palestinian civilians rests upon the shoulders of Hamas, which operates under cover of the civilian population while endangering it by holding bomb-making and explosive materials in its midst, Hamas is being responsible for everything that goes on in the Gaza area, for all of the casualties. Hamas is also responsible for some of the civilian casualties, the ones who are not involved in the fighting, who are hurt in the course of these operations, as a result of the fact that it operates from within civilian concentrations, and by planting and holding explosive charges among the civilian population as described at : http://xrl.us/bi9r6
6.  terrorist crap
Jav ,   Valencia Spain   (10.03.08)
Have in mind this is the typical rethoric that the terrorist group ETA says on Spain. You know in Israel what's terrorism and how they claim to be "freedom fighters from oppression". In othe hand, can't the IDF be more precise when shooting?
7. spain and terrorism
luisa ,   spain   (10.03.08)
I wonder who exactly the 'human rights' group is, it wouldn't be by chance 'recent spanish immigrants'- you know who I mean!!!..... it looks to me as if the Spanish government is trying its best to quash this accusations by giving Israel the information. Officially it cannot very well sweep this under the carpet and ignore it- they can stall for now...
8. #4 Well actually , they're not doing it dopey
(10.03.08)
None of those countries you have listed want this situation on their hands , not just because its embarrassing for them - but simply its BS!
9. Nothing has changed in Spain and Jews since Torquemada
Alan ,   SA   (10.03.08)
10. Spain - trashing Israel, ignoring the reconquest
Raymond in DC ,   Washington, DC USA   (10.03.08)
This is what happens when political correctness joins hands with latent anti-Semitism. In Europe, it's the liberal, progressive thing to hold Israel responsible for everything going wrong, to hold it to a standard applied to no one else. But the side story is the attempt by Arabs and Muslims to "retake" Andalusia. This is going on by means of illegal immigration, the push for "sensitivity" to Muslim values, and intimidation - even using terrorism - to drive Spanish foreign policy. No one has ever shown how one fights, without error, an asymmetric war against a ruthless enemy that hides among civilians. But Israel is doing better at it than anyone, and far better today than in 2002 when Shehade was hit.
11. Human crimes group
Soeren ,   Cologne/Germany   (10.03.08)
The Spaniards are not the problem, I guess. The problem are the "usual suspects" which are looking for any possibility to accuse Israel, means: This "human crimes group" which went to the courts. The problem is that Europe allows to be abused by Palestinian psychopaths (and some left-wing idiots) which are themselves among the worst human rights abusers worldwide... In the end it was good to kill the terrorist (while the death of innocent bystanders is regrettable) – and every civilized person will see it this way...
12. since when is killing terrorists a crime?
mike ,   israel (formerly usa   (10.03.08)
israel should be praised, not condemned.
13. to #9 Torquemada like all torah hating leftists was jewish
Horatio Windik ,   Topaz, Venezuel   (10.03.08)
and the torah demands death for the erev rav - either that or they'll kill you. like they did in spain. like they did during holocaust. like they did in ussr. like they do in israel. like they do in the west.
14. Our courts should join in!
Arie ,   BaGolan   (10.04.08)
The leftists in the Court system should be more than happy to join in: promote the indictment of the Spanish police chiefs that have authorized the capture and execution of the Basque freedom fighters;arrest their PM for ordering the police to hide or destroy evidence in the train bombings that massacred scores of civilians so as to gain the appreciation of muslims;
15. Keep that Israeli finger right in that weak, pompous........
Cameron ,   USA   (10.04.08)
Spanish face. I am sorry indeed to see the Europeans play these silly, "progressive" games. Do they not see their own slow, gentle rot?
