The claim that such modesty standards makes for a moral society are so much nonsense. A few examples: A report out of Cairo tells of hundreds of men celebrating the end of Ramadan by assaulting women, including those in full covering. Another report months ago told of the presence of porn on the cell phones of many Saudi men. Yet another tells of Saudis accessing porn sites... in Israel! Closer to home, there was a report last week of ultra-Orthodox frequenting local internet cafes to seek out... porn. And of course, those taught that immodestly dressed women are "uncovered meat" feel justified in assaulting women. This is what happens when men see women only as a temptation to be throttled.
