3. A Few Simple Doctrines
Gideon Reader   (10.10.08)
Doctrine? It SHOULD be pretty simple. 1-Treat me nicely; I'll treat you nicer. Respect me and my space; I'll repay that with equal respect and courtesy. 2-We do NOT have to love or even like each other; just get along without threatening each other literally or figuratively. 3-Harm or threaten harm towards me and mine and I'll seed death and destruction so imaginable and devestating against you and yours, that your widows, children, grandchildren to the nth. generation will cower and wail over what could have been if, IF there had been better; more judicious steps by their antecedents. Now THAT's pretty simple is it not? I thought so. Now go play nicely and stop all of that useless squirming around and manipulating and massaging or words and bargaining. It is NOT that complicated.
4. words uttered by...
ROBERT STEVENS ,   USA   (10.10.08)
"words uttered by Iran, Hizbullah, Hamas, and even Syria reveals their aspirations -- bring about Israel's end" -- why do you omit the PA's virtually identical words? Of course, I know, because that's not politically correct.
5. Reality of Doctrine
David ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (10.10.08)
Ron, the reality of doctrine by the supposed leaders of this country is such that we can only call it suicide. By thinking that they have inherited the mantle of power and doctrine, they think they have the right to fully change the direction and paradigm of the whole country, with or without the approval of the people. Rather, the accomplice in keeping the people quiet, has been the media. Therefore, they dellude themselves by thinking that giving arabs what they want will satisfy their urges and create peace, not so. All the policies of Livni, Barak, Beilin, Peres and the numerous leftist in centrist clothing, are suicidal. It WILL be only a matter of time before Israel can give no more and the arabs will see it as time to launch the final military blow to destroy Israel. So, what possible doctrine can we adopt, in the face of such an intractable enemy? When will everyone wake up? As we speak, Olmert is rushing in every direction with instructions to border police to destroy as much Jewish property as possible and wanting to totally abandon Kiryat Arba and ALL the shta'him. How much more suicidal can you get then that?
6. What about the Moshe Yaalon doctrine?
avrom ,   bet shemesh   (10.11.08)
Yaalon's doctrine is to destroy the states .the ideologies that support terrorism .He did not spell it out but the import of what he meant is to destroy the all the Arab states
