The biginning of the end for any country is when it fails to protect its own citizens. In the U.S. our government has failed to protect those U.S. citizens who live in our southwest. As a first hand observer to what is going on here in Akko I can assure u that no man risked 3 people's lives to "walk his daughter home". The Arab was driving at high speeds and in an irresponsible manner, swerving the whole way through a crowded street, filled with Jews observing Yom Kippur. Everyone was positive the Arab was trying to run over people as he charged towards a group of girls. Mini buses filled with Arabs from the old city soon arrived into the Jewish neighborhood and started smashing hundreds of car windows, houses, and shops in the city. Despite all the chaos, people still leave there houses and roam the streets freely. After all, Jews should never be afraid in their own Jewish country. However, today the problem escalated when stones were thrown from the balcony down into the streets from an Arab house of Mashtapim. You see observer, things are a lot different when u experience them first hand. I hope I cleared up u'r cloudy vision.

Time for a curfew, arrest anybody out in the street after sundown. Hold them for a month, release them on 20000 shekels bail that is only returned if they stay out of trouble for the next 3 months. If the rioting continues during daytime, then declare daytime curfews in those neighborhoods as well. Zero tolerance for this kind of crap.

As you have probably noticed by now I am extremely right wing and secular. Jason, anarchy is not the way, it is a very dangerous ideology and would lead to our international isolation and our eventual downfall. I agree that we should have solved our Arab problem years ago, but it is still not too late and it is very simple. Every citizen of this country, no matter of what origin or creed should be made to undertake an oath of allegiance, those who refuse would be obligated to surrender their documents and forego their citizenship and bid us farewell on a one way ticket. No country in the world or organization would be able to condemn such an implementation as it would be the epitome of fairness and decency, might I add, for both sides.
