I just can’t bring myself to vote for Obama, as I can’t see him instituting universal health care with raising taxes. But the one main thing is he would enforce his so called plan for peace as he stated to divide Jerusalem, to which I will never stand for.

The major donors who give big buck$ to Jewish charities will give less after they get hit with Obama's tax increase. Little donors like me will also end up giving less. This was done to support the priestly caste who performed essential community duties which did not generate revenue and to assist those unable to work. At the same time, the Torah clearly delineated the rights of land/property owners, inheritance, etc.. While there were special provisions in the Jubilee year to reapportion wealth so that no one family could corner the market so to speak, it was more of a regulation of wealth than wholesale welfare. What Barack Obama proproses is a welfare plan that destroys personal initiative and responsibility. Currently, nearly 40% of Americans pay nothing in income tax. Under Barack's plan these people will receive rebates and the numbers of Americans who pay little or nothing will grow. Where is their tithing? Biblical precepts mandated that everyone tithe regardless of wealth at a fixed proportion. We have no such provisions and the current system is graduated with the majority of the burden falling on the hard working Americans. The truly wealthy pay little if anything.
