2. "Palestine" does not exist!
Palestiniansareamyth ,   USA   (10.19.08)
Stop pushing pro-Arab propaganda! There has never been a Palestinian country, people, or culture. These Fakestinians should play for Saudi Arabia because that is where their ancestors are from.
3. There are no Palastinian people to make a team from!
JAyjay ,   Israel   (10.19.08)
More propaganda lies! Tell the world a lie long enough, and people will believe you. Funny how no Arab would of dared call themselves a Palastinian pre 67! PAck of liars!

Amir   (10.19.08)
6. re #1: "internationally recognized countries" and FIFA
Tobias   (10.19.08)
Well, there are also other FIFA members who aren't internationally recognized countries, for example England, Scotland, Wales, North Ireland, Faroer Islands, ... Seems that this is not necessarily a criteria to become a FIFA member.
7. Palestine does not exist...really?
One state-2 peoples ,   Jerusalem   (10.20.08)
To all of you refusing a Palestine alongside Isreal, maybe you should start considering the one state solution were Arabs in the West Bank and Gaza back off the idea of Palestine and request civil rights in israel including being part of the national soccer team.....suckers!
8. # 7 There's a third option
Bill ,   US   (10.20.08)
Giving Gaza back to Egypt and the west bank to Jordan. Jordan won't go for it though since they don't want anymore of a self-proclaimed "Palestinian majority.
9. Palestine does exist.....
Truth Hertz ,   UK   (10.20.08)
But it cannot be an international match since it will be a team from Palestine (Jordan) playing against Palestinian settlers who occupy parts of the Land of Israel.
10. Good for them!
Said ,   London, UK   (10.21.08)
Its good to see that they have a football team that competes. I'm glad that all of you Palestine-haters find it so hard to swallow! The people you have been trying to deny and put down are working towards their own future, regardless of whether you like it or not! Your best efforts of denying them their identity have been in vain: the entire world recognises that there are a people called PALESTINIANS!!!
11. Don't worry, it's the terrorists who win
Steve from Raleigh   (10.21.08)
It will be one huge Hamas rally, there will be rockets and calls to exterminate all Jews. Reuters will declare it a great success. The Hamas team will lose and of course blame the Jews.
12. Palestine for the win!
eric ,   jerusalem   (10.21.08)
13. this article doing lot af alergie to many
Sabra   (10.21.08)

14. As my sister would say: "Palestine, what's that?"
Jake   (10.21.08)
Sometimes, the less said, the better.
15. # 10 You misunderstand
Bill ,   US   (10.22.08)
I recognize that there are people who are called Palestinians simply because that's what they want to call themselves. That doesn't mean I accep the myths that the majority of them are descendents of people who have lived in Palestine for thousands of years or that they have any unique Palestinian culture.
