1. We, the world citizens are sick and tired of feets dragging
Moise   (10.27.08)
Every time the zionists feel the heat to make peace with their neigghbours , they provoke a new elections, or major terrorist act. We are sick and tired of Israeli tricks people. Stop playing with our patience
2. elections

Now before israel, you have 3 basic ideas to consider: 1) the livni and olmert model-talk and sit with the arabs, argue, discuss, be happy, convince them, hold their hands, live with the terror and make far reaching concessions in return for nothing. Hope that it will work out since the argument is that constant war did not bring full peace. Also fear of the future demographics caused olmert to convince Sharon to give up the hold on gaza. But now, you have hamas rockets in gaza and olmert lost the lebanon war with a blow to deterrence.Livni has more courage than olmert and may strike a harder bargain than olmert but it may not be safe enough. 2) The Likud Netanyahu model-talk to them, yes, teach them reciprocity, smash them when terror occurs, reestablish deterrence, deal with terror, no concessions at the beginning, maybe some later but nothing is definite. Two state solution may be shelved for the Jordanian optioin.Olmert concessions are stopped dead. 3) Lieberman model-smash the arabs at the first sign of trouble and transfer them to Jordan. Ultimately, arabs may push israel to choose lieberman. In the meantime, its livni or Netanyahu. Livni should indicate as she prides herself on honesty what she has offered abbas-its not a secret, she has to tell israelis and what does israel get back and how does hamas factor into this. I still get the feeling the Livni is playing monopoly-make believe like Olmert and she may not know what she is doing. We'll see. In any case, israel will be far better off with the criminal olmert out of the picture, a loser of 2 wars and a crook to boot according to the police, stealing from jewish charities. Netanyahu has some good ideas, however, he has to be more precise in arranging the militiary planning through Moshe Yaalon who should without doubt be the new defense minister, be more steadfast to resist US pressure when israel has to, and keep his wife sara from interfering like olmert in sundry matters. There are some MKs that need to be kicked out and I am going to list them: Ramon, peretz, shneller, izik, hasson, bar on, tamir, yishai.Barak is not an mk, but if he runs, he should be defeated for issuing empty threats for the last 2 years. The former israeli ambassador to the UN should be broght back into politics as Gillerman was brave and steadfast. Sharansky and merridor should come back as well. Finally if Mazzuzz does not soon indict Olmert in the next 14 days, he should be defeated in the elections.A smart man, he is terribly insecure and has very little courtroom experience.

opinion. So gets your feets out of here. We should have new elections, especially for president. Let simple simon become the LOSER again. For years now, we Isralis suffered from his nonsense and his building a palestinian terror base on our Jewish land. Let us vote for president and we will get a Jew and not peres!
4. Corrupt politicans get out and hold elections.

5. livni and elections
marcel   (10.27.08)
One area of concern with Livni is haim Ramon. All know that next to Olmert, Ramon is the biggest idiot in israeli politics, whose ideas are worthless. The man has made no contribution other than kissing women. Yet reports were that Livni was looking up to Ramon. This is extremely troubling. just like mcCain had to dissociate from bush, Livni has to get rid of this olmert garbage dweller. it should concern all israelis that Livni apparently deferred to Ramon during the negotiations. Who cares what this moron thinks or says. He should not be in cabinet period. Let him visit Olmert in jail. he can take Aliza and Shaul of Sundaysky with them. Ramon should be in jail for kissing his complaignant.

Does anybody know if people who hold an Israeli citizenship(and who do not reside in Israel) can still vote?
8. Elections & #1
Gershon Hunt ,   Wexford, Ireland   (10.27.08)
B''H Thank G-d, the people of Israel are going to be allowed the opportunity to elect a pro Israeli Government, to replace the Palestinian huggers that currently old office. I am amazed, though at the idiotic ravings of Moise. Israel, will soon show that it isnot going to be dictated to by anybody as to what part of her territories it should give away next. How dare this idiot suggest that the exercise of democracy (calling an election) is an anti peace ploy. Of course Palestinians are not greatly sold on democracy, neither are their allies both inside and outside of Israel. Speaking of idiotic rantings, I am truly amazed at the nerve of Olmert and his statement that Israelis are still in danger from terrorists. Yes, they are, because the more acts of terror they commit, the more Olmert and his band of renegade jews give to them. When Mr Netanyahu replaces Olmert as Prime Minister, then let us hope and pray that we may also get the opportunity to elect a pro Israeli president.
9. Israel desperately needs real change
Yisraeli   (10.27.08)
and enough with all these useless regurgitated career politicians who are only in it for themselves and their inflated egos. The electorate will have to do something radical. They can no longer tolerate the same imbeciles. And no I dont believe Bibi Natanyahu is much different from the current horde of a-holes. Bibi is all ego to without a backbone, he just talks with a silver tongue. So whos left? Only a Moshe Feiglin winning the upcoming Likud primaries offers the real change Israel needs. However if he doesnt win it perhaps Lieberman if his party can garner enough seats be given a chance, tho I cant see it. Other then that there is absolutely no one else. The electorate should then send a message by voting with blank slips of paper. Just imagine if out of 1.5 mill eligable vote 1 mill are blank. That means no one can form a government and demands major political reform and change to the current party system. Alas I dont see the public being united and smart enough to do this.
10. #9
Gershon Hunt ,   Wexford, Ireland   (10.27.08)
B''H Here we go, having been involved with political parties in Israel, The U.K. and Ireland it never surprises me when slimy little worms come from the woodwork to topple great leaders. I have seen it with His Excellency John Bruton, Fine Gael leader in Ireland. I have seen it with The Rt Hon Baroness Mararet Thatcher, Conservative Leader in the U.K. Now I see it with the greatest of them all Bibi Netanyahu in the Likud Party. The author of #9 is urging anarchy to topple Bibi. sir, you sign yourself as a patriot, surely the priority is now to rid us of the regime which wants to dissolve our State. It is time for a united Likud, if you cannot row in behind our wonderful leader, perhaps youshould question where your real loyalities lie.
11. Lieberman will join Bibi....you watch!
