1. jewish life is only worth 200 shekel these days
zionist forever   (10.30.08)
We got lucky that nobody this gaurd let decided to kill anybody but this guy didn't know at the time that these people had no terrorist intentions and so for 200 shekels this GAURD risked jewish lives. Why is he doing community service he should be in prison getting ready to share a cell with Olmert. This result was unjust and another example of how Israels courts are just as weak and pathetic as its politicians.
2. twisted logic
ben Ish   (10.30.08)
The defense argued that they should be lenient with the guard because they were lenient with the employer? what kind of stupidity is that? Just stop punishing everyone? what next? Get rid of all laws so no one gets unfairly punished? If one of those pals had killed someone, he would argue the guard is not at fault because he was a pawn of the employer. The employer not at fault because he just wanted workers, and the pal not at fault because he is just a product of society, or mentally incapable of responsibility. The only ones at fault anymore are Jews, for expecting any kind of justice from this self-destructive system.
