This is a great move by these parties and I like what I see with Likud also . Sensible people are spoilt for choice. I hope that this spells the end of Kadima whose sole purpose was to give away the State in the name of "peace ".

stude ham   (11.03.08)
Just what Israel does not need... another high moral sounding religious party with its hands in the pork barrels of the treasuries... as if shas didn't prove the point of corruption under the guise of 'morality'. Israel needs this party like it needs hamas and the pa.

21. Something Good is Happening in the Likud
Norway   (11.03.08)
"Effie Eitam's decision to join the Likud is an important step in the religious/nationalist camp's integration into its natural ruling party. It is not acceptable that blatant leftists such as Uzi Dayan and Asaf Hefetz have received the authorization from Chairman Netanyahu to run - - despite the short amount of time that has passed since they joined the Likud, while Effie Eitam - a person from the very core of the nationalist camp - is rejected by the Likud citing the very same reason." On the one hand, there is a strong nationalist trend inside the Likud - for which we have worked over the years. On the other hand, though, there are still those in the Likud who oppose the faith-based direction - and continue their attempts to prevent the refreshing change so vital to the Likud's success. Now more than ever, Israel needs Feiglin in the Knesset! http://www.mflikud.com/ The race for a realistic slot in the crowded list is going to be tough. It is important to remember that Moshe Feiglin is the only faith-based Likud candidate who dares to directly face off - - against the justice system and media. The following (Hebrew) film succinctly presents Moshe's views on these issues. http://www.mflikud.co.il/contents/video/video036.html
22. NEW NATIONALIST PARTY
davidhasday ,   NEW YORK   (11.03.08)
bs"d Without changing the corrupt election system , nothing is going to change. Where a candidate can NOT be hold responsible for his/her words and actions , there is no future for no party. The real change will happen after a new electoral system. But still good luck ...
23. The state of the Knesset
Avi   (11.04.08)
these days is so fragmented, that it would do good for there to be fewer parties. Right now, nobody can get a majority because of these hundreds of small parties with very different priorities are jockeying for some position in any government that comes about. This is one factor why governments have policies that may not be consistent with what a party believes.
24. #18 Clearly knows nothing about religious Zionism
Mizrahi Jew   (11.04.08)
Are you kidding me? Do you not realise that the very reason Religious Zionism exists as a separate entity to Haredi Judaism is that the Haredim do not accept Zionism?
25. #1 Turkey and Iran are fantacy not israel
