In case anyone forgot, rarely, if ever, does one find a unified bloc of millions of human beings who see exactly eye-to-eye on every single issue. As an Orthodox hiphop musician, I see a quite different view of the Orthodox world than many of my counterparts -- and yet both I and my internet-abhorring peyos-wearing coreligionist sit down every Friday to similar Shabbat tables to sing the same zemirot (albeit with different tunes).
You can be (ultra-)Orthodox and have any number of viewpoints on any number of issues -- as long as one has the personal unfettered faith in G-d as eternal Creator and in the supremacy of His Torah. I am sure Ms. Greenfield will have her own inner debates and conflicts, yet being a free thinker and being a G-d-fearing Orthodox Jew present no contradiction, on the contrary: people like Ms. Greenfield contribute to the growing diversity in the Orthodox world.
