1. Rubbish! The Syrians are lying, as usual
USA   (11.12.08)
2. If that's true, Israel can drop fecal bombs on Damascus next
Moishe   (11.12.08)
According to Moallem's logic, dropping poop on Bashar's headquarters will only prove what Israel believes about the Damascus gang.
3. Easy to prove
Shimon ,   Cincinnati, USA   (11.12.08)
The traces there have their own "signature" and it should be pretty easy to find out whether Moallem is a liar or not. Maybe Moallem will become the student...lol.
4. Yeah! Yeah! Yeah!
Israel   (11.12.08)
Start being accountable for your actions. Start taking responsibility for all the terrorists you are breeding there. Stupid mixed up country!
5. What Took Them So Long?
Mark ,   Kibbutz Elrom   (11.12.08)
I thought it was my glowing personality.
6. Plant grow enhancement
Avi ,   Toronto   (11.12.08)
Hi Mr. Walid Pinocchio, Firs of all I can't close your email because your nose, secondely you may say that you invite IAF to sprinckle some uranium on your agriculture devolpment center to enhace plant growing , you can submitt this to Security Council, yeah!
7. IT IS PROBABLY TRUE
AMERICAN   (11.12.08)
look at what Israel did to Lebanon or the Palestinians.
8. Israeli uranium
Nora ,   Tel Aviv   (11.12.08)
Syria:The truth is that we just wanted to buy corn seeds for our new plantation through an intermediary. We didn`t know that the Mossad injected uranium into those seeds.
9. Enriched Uranium vs. Depleted Uranium
Jake   (11.12.08)
The traces found at the site contained traces of enriched uranium, in the words of Mr. Moallem himself. If the uranium in question had come from a bomb or missile used to pinpoint target this Syrian facility, it would almost certainly have been depleted uranium. (Or will Moallem also claim he saw a mushroom cloud?) Sorry Mr. Moallem. Try again.
10. For the same people claim Mossad and the CIA attacked WTC
Gee ,   Zikron Yaakov   (11.12.08)
Yup those are the very same people. The more lies that the Arab government claim the less anybody should believe anything they say.
11. Plant grow enhancement
Avi ,   Toronto, Canada   (11.12.08)
Mr. Walid Moallem alas Pinocchio has aproblem with closing/ open doors because his nose get stuck in, therefore more credible reasening is that Syria invited IDF to sprinkle some uranium on the Agriculture Development Center to enhance the plant grow and may be adreesed to Security Council of UN anyhow Russia and China will vote for it.
12. The Morons In Syria
Ses   (11.12.08)
I say that Israel is lucky to have morons like this as our enemy because these statments insure that they have no credibility ... next stop, taking out hamas and hezbollah ... and in that upcoming conflict, i say lets use those uranium bombs and settle the issue now and forever .... how about ... stir fried nastallah with mushroom clouds served a over death bed of Meschal
13. Um, that's not how DU works, Mr. al-Moallem.
Roman ,   Lod, Israel   (11.12.08)
Depleted Uranium is the by-product of uranium enrichment - and easily identified as a separate matter from Enriched Uranium. DU has some military uses due to its high density and flammability, resulting in it being used for armor-piercing ammo production for conventional firearms - from as small as pistols to as large as vulcan auto-cannons. Few larger applications exist - attempts to use them for armor-piercing tank shells are very limited in their end result, and no DU rockets, missiles, or bombs exist. The myth of DU bombs used by the US or Israel are just that - myths. Conspiracy theories spread to make the ignorant masses hate the "enemy".
14. So, jews poison boore syrian kids wiht Uran
Rehavam ,   Israel   (11.12.08)

15. Ha ha ha! Who does this fat bastard think he's kidding?
Pyongyang ,   N. Korea   (11.12.08)
16. CONFUSION REIGNS
Arik Silverman ,   Milwaukee USA   (11.12.08)
Looking back at an original AP story announcing these leaked IAEA findings, I see nothing but confusion. The confusion is largely due to reporters who are not trained in science and don't know what they're talking about. When this Syrian talks about "enriched" uranium, it could well be confusion. Furthermore, IAF could have planted evidence it wanted inspectors to find in order to justify the raid. But I don't know that. So little important detail is given that I can't make heads or tails out of this incident. They "reporting" amounts to hysteria.
17. Maybe Israel DID put it there !!!
ME ,   USA   (11.12.08)
Don't forget the pigeons arrested in IRAN for spying on a nuclear site. Common...it's quit possible that theses same pigeons pooped the material in Syria BEFORE getting nabbed. Poor evil pigeons. = ) Anyway just another lame excuse that they think the world will buy, but really only makes them look as stupid and the audience that believes it. No offense meant if you actually believe this.....Don't forget the Pigeons with the invisible strings....
