31. To Pro-Pal groups: Try boycotting IGNORANCE for a change!

32. The Arab Boycott is illegal under US Federal Law
Jacob Blues ,   New York City, USA   (11.16.08)
The 'pro-Palestinian' group should realize that there will be no adherence to the Arab Boycott against Israel. US Federal law was enacted to block such economic warfare from the Arab states and their supporters. Fines and jail terms await those that comply with it. . I remember working for an import/export company that had a supplier slip in participation in one of the shipping documents. A half-million dollar payment was held up by the banks until they received clean documentation eliminating adherence to the boycott. Beyond the warfare aspect, the boycott itself is a racist and bigoted attempt by the Arab states and the Palestinians to dehumanize Israelis and for that reason alone should be resisted.
33. uphold boycott?

34. The terrorist Arab world consisting of Sudan, Somalia

35. Regards from Ann Arbor
Michigan ,   Ann Arbor   (11.17.08)
While Ann Arbor may be a very liberal, left leaning town, it isn't quite exactly Dearborn. The protesters in front of the shul here are few in number and hated by everyone in Ann Arbor, including all of the mainstream Arab/Muslim groups on campus. Moreover, in my 4 years here, I have yet to witness any of the actions alleged by #24. As it regards the city council meetings, they have all been arrested multiple times at the meetings, and I myself had the pleasure of seeing their ringleader arrested at an event on campus 2 years ago this week. Rest assured, the Jewish/Pro-Israel voice on this campus is far to substantial to be overtaken by idiots like this. Come to campus tomorrow on 11/17 as the Diag is dedicated to Sderot for the day.
36. if they really want to boycott Israel ...
Tobias   (11.17.08)
... they should refuse to buy or use, for example, computers with modern Intel processors and a relatively new Microsoft OS (e.g. XP or Vista) - or any other technology by MS, Intel, HP, Google or IBM, which probably has been developed in the Haifa area or elsewhere in Israel. They should also stop to use cell phones. And before they receive any medical treatment, they should check whether the specific treatment has been developed in Israel or benefit from research results from Israeli scientists - as Israeli universities and companies do a lot of research in the field of medicine. Chances are high that the hard-core-boycotters will die earlier.
37. boycott of a philharmonic orchestra ...
Tobias   (11.17.08)
because of political reasons - I think this is really stupid. The musicians are made scapegoats of their government. Hey, do these guys also want to be considered representatives for the policy of their own (G.W. Bush) Government? I doubt it. If this organisation does it mean really serious, they should also boycott their own (U.S. american) orchestras, theatres and other cultural events, at least until the government will have changed and Guantanamo is closed. Otherwise they must feel that they are approving of their current government, don't they?
