This child's right to justice was violated by a system that was more generous to the murderer than it was to the victim.

for those complaining that he only got 6 years, the light sentence was a compromise. on the one hand the evidence was pretty clear at his first trial that he was innocent (that's why he was acquited at the first trial). on the other hand the police and state prosecution were embarresed because they had gone to the media with all kinds of sensational charges. so at the second trial the judge agreed to convict him of manslaughter but impose a light sentance (she no doubt figures she is very rightous since she is sending an innocent man to jail for "only" 6 years). since the defendant is a second class csitizen (ie charedi) this is acceptable in israeli courts.
