1. What a pathetic article
JAy ,   ISrael   (11.21.08)
This article is nothing more than a personal attack on Likud with no facts or any information given! Pathetic leftist dribble!
2. Attila,your bias are overwhelming,.Go to haaretez
trumpeldor ,   eurabia   (11.21.08)
3. #1 Jay, Israel. I second your comment.
Terry   (11.21.08)
Wasn't worth reading. The only true thing is calling Israeli politics a swamp.
4. Battle tested and combat ready.
Gideon Reader   (11.21.08)
Bogey has already been battle tested. He took incoming from the mortars of Sharon and grazing fire from Peretz and whatisname, you know, the crappy Air Force General Ivri who thinks he can win a war from 30K footsies. Anyone in his former military position knows what he is in for. What is more political in Israel than serving in ANY level on the General Staff. The Boogster brings honesty and decency to bolster Benny Begin and the other "Princes" of the right. Clear ideology. A sense of history. A no nonsense point of view and the will to get the job done without seeking untold personal riches and self agrandizement at the cost to the nation's security and economic debit of the average Yossi is what will get Likud the mandates to run and repair the badly leaking ship of state.
5. Sickening
RB ,   Israel   (11.21.08)
Atilla, who paid you for this dirty stuff?
6. Somebody is paying this guy to write this stuff

7. Very Biased Article
Ginette ,   Toronto, Canada   (11.22.08)
Attila, who made you thy king to spread doom and gloom? I am totally in agreement with 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 & 6. Bogie is more than ready to enter the political arena, remember he's got those big boots to mud through the swamp and crush all those venomous snakes! If anyone is going to shake in their booties is Kadima because nobody, absolutely nobody would want a repeat of the Olmert regime. They have done too much damage to the country and I want to believe Israelis are smarter than voting Kadima again. Shabbat shalom.
8. Somfalvi: Livni's HOUSEBOY

9. Bogy,the snake charmer
chop-chop   (11.22.08)
And you Attila " the Hun" ,are part of the mud for which those high boots will prove to be very handy indeed.
10. atila, really, all of us expected much more from u
svietka   (11.22.08)
u r a really good journalist, very professional and do yo homework. Even if i might dissagree with your opinion sometimes-i never questioned your objectivity as a journalist-u r 1of very very few that can be tolerated....until now that is. what is this garbage? where r the facts, whre is insight or something we would say "aaah" to.... it does sound paid for by oposition to likud
11. Actually, I appreciated the article
Adam Eliyahu Berkowi   (11.24.08)
It does not bash the right or Likud. It bashes the sad state of Israeli politics. Can anyone argue that? Where the idealists, the men who want to serve, enter reluctantly. It is precisely that incredibly sorry state that is pulling back the good eggs against their will. One day, god willing I should live to see it, we will look back on these days with disbelief. And we will be making gematrias of how Peres is twice haman, Olmert is atbash Nachash, Barak is lashon kever, Beilin is tikkun of nevel/ nevela etc.
12. No withdrawals
reuven ,   New york   (11.24.08)
Is the author saying that only candidates who favor withdrawals are acceptable candidates? What have withdrawals under Oslo and from Gaza done to improve Israel's security? It's time to elect a non-politician rather than people who promise painful concessions at other's people expense or betray everything they ever stood for once they get elected.
