Could be cell phones? Perhaps they were agents of pelephone or cellcom trying to enter iranian market? Like they say make conversation, not a-bombs.
2. execution
Ilana ,   Israel   (11.22.08)
It chills me at how easily they kill a human!! It seems that their religion cannot condone such easy killing. And where are the UN righteous human rightists???? No banning Iran from the UN?
3. #2 Israel executes more than anyone..
Edithann ,   USA   (11.22.08)
Israeli constant targeted killings and incessant assassinations shows Israel worse...Those are killings without trials...and Israel advertises it's intentions all the time! Can we say all the leaders of Hamas have been placed on notice? TATA

Yisraeli   (11.22.08)
I dont know whether he was a spy or not but I do know one thing when a facist dictatorship threatens to kill your wife, your children, your parents and whomever you have any love for, you will say anything they dictate to you to save their lives and sacrifice yourself. Thats a no brainer. I think many people of Iran would know that and dont place much credence on these so called "confessions". They know their regime, thats why the people hate them and are scared of them.

7. #3 Israel targets known terrorists
Cynthia ,   USA   (11.22.08)
Pay closer attention Edithann. The Israelis focus on Palestinian terrorists responsible for terror ie kassam rocket launching cell members and leaders who harm Israeli citizens. Iran executes their own citizens, including 16 year old girls, to intimidate the Iranian public. The Regime puts on a big show. They typically bring in a large crane to the center of town and let the person being executed die a slow, painful death. Palestinians have been placed on notice but they still cross into Israel to attack innocent Israelis and Palestinian leadership does nothing to stop them.
8. 3 -since when is killing terrorists "executing"?
mike ,   israel (formerly usa   (11.22.08)
oh yes, if one uses lame moral equivalence to compare bloodthirsty terrorists who target innocent civilians, then sing and dance when they succeed, with a liberal democracy having to protect herself against these islamic perverts. and while you're at it you can also justify palestinian apartheid, genocide, and fascism as "resistance". sure you can do that if suspend intelligence and decency, but you are making a public embarrassment of yourself and your little minion (#6).
9. #3, Iran executed more people in the last year

((Since when is killing terrorists "executing"?)) Since babies less than one year of age were considered terrorists... "Muhammad Nasr Abdul-Aziz al-Boray, 6 months, of Gaza City, Gaza, killed by shrapnel from IDF missiles to his head and chest while in his home when IDF aircraft destroyed the neighboring Ministry of Interior building." http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PQEZ2ad8z20 http://www.ynet.co.il/english/articles/0,7340,L-3512328,00.html http://www.rememberthesechildren.com/remember2008.html

You said, ((It chills me at how easily they kill a human!! It seems that their religion cannot condone such easy killing.)) Israel has killed 72 children so far this year (I have their names, ages, how they were killed, etc...). Care to comment? Terrorists? War is war? Right to defend itself? Other excuses? Yes? No? Maybe? Religious superiority? Banning from the UN? Need I go on?
13. He has been delivered form a fate worse than death.
Rivkah   (11.22.08)
My sister's former Iranian pilot and his wife neighbors in California was a testiment to what happens when a person is accused who is innocent and who refuses to confess to something he/she did not do. Majid's wife was arrested when she returned to Iran after visiting relatives in Scandinavia and America. She said she was not a spy and was tortured until she lost the baby she was carrying which included gang rape and hot coals under her armpits. Her Iranian Air Force pilot husband was arrested, too, when his wife came back to Iran. Majid (not his real name) was accused of being a CIA spy. Rather than to confess to something he did not do, he endured eight years of torture. He was hung from the ceiling by his arms until they came out of the sockets. He showed my sister and me and her husband the horrible scars from his imprisonment. He called on Allah for eight years to deliver him from the Ayatollah's cruelty and the false accusations. Finally, he called on the God of the Jews to save him and he was released. He escaped to Russian and then China and finally to America where his wife, children, and brother-in-law fled years before. Like Tammi Arad who has waited for her missing pilot husband Ron Arad, Majid's wife did not remarry and never gave up hope of Majid surviving.
14. genius #10 - thanks for supporting my point
mike ,   israel (formerly usa   (11.22.08)
so where do you allege that israel targeted the baby, any baby or civilian? thanks for helping me out with your lame moral equivalence. and thank your terrorist buddies who use these innocents as human shields in their bloodthirsty attempt at genocide, even if it kills every one of their own people along the way.
15. If he had not confessed, he would still be alive, although a
Rivkah   (11.22.08)
prisoner indefinitely, being tortured for a confession until his release some years in the future. My sister's neighbor was an Iranian Air Force Pilot under the Shah who was falsely accused of being a CIA spy when his wife went to visit relatives in America and returned to a new government of Iran under the Ayatollah. She was arrested and tortured until she lost her child she was carrying. Her husband was arrested and tortured for eight years before being released. He never confessed because he was innocent and a false confession would have been a death sentence. Iran is a land of laws and a confession is needed for an execution. Refusing to confess is the only hope of survival. Whether this fellow who was executed was guilty or not, he was likely tortured to confess which is not a valid confession.
16. #14
GUH   (11.22.08)
((so where do you allege that israel targeted the baby, any baby or civilian?)) So is it your argument that this action [killing the baby] was morally superior? [and thank your terrorist buddies who use these innocents as human shields in their bloodthirsty attempt at genocide] No, I'll be thanking you and your pathetic excuses for a cold blooded murder by the heroes you support so blindly; firing on an area full of civilians at midnight... human shields? I wonder how many times I've heard that before, but it all shows how low you people are. It's amusing how you speak of moral superiority in the face of this. Do you have any shame, boy?
17. But to answer your question Michael...
GUH   (11.22.08)
of "since when has killing terrorists executing?" Let us look at a definition: ((To inflict capital punishment on; put to death according to law. to murder; assassinate)) Although the definition stipulates that execution refers to death according to law, Israel acts on the principle of execution extra-judicially on the occupied West Bank/ Gaza Strip, which still applies. Now please define for me what a terrorist is and show me how a six month old baby is a terrorist. Just to satisfy my curiosity, because I am a curious person. And please read on how the baby died and explain how these "terrorists" were directly responsible for the death, as opposed to an American-made, Israeli fired bomb, shrapnel piece.
18. 16if killing babies is so bad, why do your boys target them?
mike ,   israel (formerly usa   (11.22.08)
and, according to your logic, since the terrorists bravely hide among civilians and purposely dress as to not be identified as combatants (unlike the idf) i suppose israel should allow these murders to kill and terrorize at will. why don't they come out and fight like men, instead of hiding around women and babies? and, according to your terrorist buddies, any israeli is a legitimate target because they will probably serve in the army. so you tell me why ACTIVELY TARGETING babies, women, children, and elderly people is morally equal. anytime palestinian civilians are killed by israel, it is an accident, and just imagine if israel decided to kill with no regard of civilians... and a side note: why do your brave resistance fighters celebrate when innocent civilians are murdered? at least israel shows sorrow and regret. your terrorists laugh, dance, pass out candy. barbaric, you know. there's your definition of terrorists. (oh, and by the way, what about your terrorist boys killing each other, like hamas/fatah do to each other, and not to mention all of their "accidents" of mishandling bombs, guns, and rockets? i guess it is perfectly ok for palestinians to slaughter each other as long as jews are not involved).

20. Re: 18 for Mike
GUH   (11.22.08)
Mike, I do not know what planet you come from, but it is most certainly not from this one. Your post is full of lies and distortions; let me go through the list. 1) You say that the IDF soldiers are brave because they wear uniform and Palestinian fighters are not brave by not wearing always wearing uniform. Umm... yeah, it would be very smart to wear a uniform... while your enemy uses a satellite-guided missile or tanks (courtesy of the US taxpayer); and Palestinian fighters do fight like brave men with obsolete weapons against a Goliath with the most sophisticated weaponry in the world, without the slightest fear of death. Hiding around women and babies? You would see those women and babies, wouldn't you, with your satellites? Yet your soldiers pull the trigger and later "express regret." A sane person would see this lie for what it was. 2. You said, ((according to your terrorist buddies, any israeli is a legitimate target because they will probably serve in the army)) No, this is actually your logic; I hear it all the time, when a boy is killed, people like you say, "he would have been a suicide bomber or fired rockets;" or when a women is killed, "she would have given birth to a terrorist." This is hypocrisy in its most malignant form, so don't go putting words in my mouth. 3. ((so you tell me why ACTIVELY TARGETING babies, women, children, and elderly people is morally equal)) Israel kills, injures, and maims Palestinian civilians on a scale unparalleled compared to the other way around. 4.((anytime palestinian civilians are killed by israel, it is an accident, and just imagine if israel decided to kill with no regard of civilians...)) Here, Mike, is the biggest lie yet. Even your politicians have, in a way, admitted to targeting children. For example, when Amira Dotan, the spokesperson for the foreign ministry was asked about the 550 children killed between Sept. 2000 to April 2004, she replied that the deaths were, “accidental, collateral but not deliberate.” When further asked as to how the Israeli army decided to drop one ton bombs on apartment buildings, a tactic which killed scores of innocent men, women, and children, she replied, “Yes, we knew there were children, but we had to kill the terrorists.” (source:http://www.ifamericansknew.org/stats/child_41304.html) Translation: Israel knows there are children in bombarded area(s), but intentionally fire nevertheless; this suggests that such killings are deliberate and not accidental at all. And with this continuing trend, it is painfully obvious that regret over these deaths are fictitious and pretentious. 5.Since we have established that Israel does not regret civilian deaths, we may just as well say that Israel does not have any regard for civilians, and therefore we do not have to imagine that it will happen: it has happened, and it will continue to happen until Palestine is free. 6.You did not adequately answer the question, as I had expected. You use the word “terrorist” so loosely (I believe a dozen times or so in this discussion), but can not properly define it or apply it to the subject in question. That is how you would lose any civilized debate, but then again I am debating and arguing with a person whose degree of civilization less than or equal to zero.

Killing innocents on purpose as terrorist do is just a little different than trying to kill the terrorist bastard who hide in the midst of civilians used for cover and as human shields. GUH means you are fuCking retarded. What a sucker for propaganda you and edithann are. Oh no, you're different you write it for her to repeat. Get a life loser
24. #3. comparison between Iran and Israel
Zvi   (11.23.08)
Israel has not executed even one single Hamas or Hizballah terrorist in its prisons. Israel is forced to carry out assassinate terrorists who mastermind the murder against Israeli civilians and who are located in territories that refuse to bring these psychopaths to justice themselves (as any normal country would do). Iran, in contrast, Edithann, executes children and executes women for being unfaithful to abusive husbands.
25. iran's war
tom ,   toronto, canada   (11.23.08)
iran's islamic revolution is at war with wetsern culture. like the taleban, they would like to ban all aspects of western culture, including television, internet, and mp3 players. because any one of them could lead to free speech, and a rejection of fundamentalist demagoguery. an importer of consumer eletronics would be an obvious "agent of western culture" and an even greater threat than the mossad itself. executing a man on an obviously forced (and scripted) confession is just another sign of the barbarism that is the "islamic revolution".

You babble too much.... Talk about a propaganda machine.... Anyway, you are entertaining to say the least....I especially like how you equate the one instance where Israel dropped a one ton bomb on an apartment building knowing there would be a lot of collateral damage, but you never mention the name of the mass murderer living safely in the middle of the apartment complex, protected by the children around him (or so he thought), the guy that made bombs and dispatched suicide bombers that intentionally targeted and murdered israeli civilians....yeah Salah Shahadin was a bad man....(you forgot to mention his name by the way, we understand why) even the press afterward described him as: " the biggest murderer, the man who caused Israel the most damage, nobody was bigger, stronger, more ruthless. Hundreds were killed or wounded because of him." The true question is not why did Israel drop a one ton bomb on his apartment hideout....the question is what took them so long to do it? Any other nation would not have waited so long to do it. He made it no secret where he was hiding, he just believed that the jews would never bomb him while he was surrounding himself with civilians. We Jews, unfortunately, have not been afforded that sense of safety.
