1. Livni = hevel
Ilan   (11.23.08)
Our Reuven Eldar puppet can only ever be an 'acting' PM.
2. Kadima's expectations
DT ,   TA   (11.23.08)
Whether Bibi has or has not changed is not the issue. The fact is that Livni and co are the qunitessential team of "Peace at any Price". When they have given everything away in th name of "Peace" they will find there is no peace and it will be Gaza (and soon to be) the North all over again not to mention Iran. Voters just look at what Kadima have destroyed already ! Peace and security being top of the list.
3. Pulse is slowing, there is no heartbeat sorry Kadima is dead
Jewish Refugee ,   U.S.A.   (11.23.08)
I don't about you guys but it seems to me that everything is being done by Kadima to survive this inevitible defeat but it still doesn't work. I think Israeli people finally have come to their sences that Kadima is just a dead corpse that just stinks in the knesset. 4. betting
colin   (11.23.08)
Ynet has a printing error. The number is 3 That ynet added a 0 does not help.A month ago when kadima had the internal vote to kick the corrupt olmert to pasture figures showed that they will obtain only 2 seats. General elections will be kind to kadima and a third seat is added.
5. HA HA HA HA HA HA....
YMBMY ,   Modiin, Israel   (11.23.08)
30 seats?!?! They couldn't get that even when they were milking Sharon on his ventilator! Moreover - do they really think the public forget about Chaim Ramon, Avraham Hirschson, and Tzachi Hanegbi, et al (and Ronnie Bar On who is soon to joni that group).
6. what is called OPPORTUNISM
Yoel   (11.23.08)
they mostly left Likud few years ago, because somebody predicted a large victory to Sharon. Now, they showed they had no political conviction, except the strong motivation for keeping their siege in the Knesset.
7. They have experience
Israel Israeli ,   Tel Aviv   (11.23.08)
Livni became the leader of Kadima because of ballot stuffing. Maybe she figures to do the same in the national election.
8. What a pity Israelis are so self destructive
dr. dave ,   usa   (11.23.08)
After years of security deterioration at the hands of traitors of Kadimah it's unbelievable that Israelis would continue down this path.
9. Kadima suffering from same delusions as Left
JPS ,   Efrat   (11.23.08)
It's kind of hard to look at Kadima and not think that they have so much in common with Meretz and Labor. All three are going to suffer at the polls unless they can engineer a massive overhaul of their psyches. All 3 have this delusional idea that Israel is seriously negotiating with "the Palestinians". Excuse me, the who? I've never voted Likud in my life, but it certainly seems that the election is Bibi's to blow (and he's done it before). But right now, my money is on Likud because the electorate know that the "talks" with the Pals are a farce. Unfortunately, there's no political party left with any broad-based vision that will serve Israel in the next decade. Bibi thinks he knows economics, but his "fix" left us with a 25% poverty level and the same dismal education system. Kadima doesn't know what it's for. Labor abandoned the workers years ago. Meretz abandoned the country years ago (to support the Pals). The far right is like the ultra-orthodox - they all abandoned the rest of Judaism years ago. My secret weapon for reform? Get the Arabs in Israel to unite under one flag and get 20+ seats in the Knesset to become the opposition and demand true equal rights. That would spur the Jews to reform themselves. But, come on, who am I kidding? Arab unity? Jews supporting all their fellow Jews? Humbug.
10. THANKS YNET
DAVID ,   JUDEA   (11.23.08)
For your ever unrelenting free propaganda and advertising , trying to manipiulate an already corrupt system. At least you guys do not worry about being a free unbiased journalistic outlet and we are gratefull for your lack of any decency and honest reporting. Ofcourse this will most likely not passt our enlightend censors who protect us from freedom of speech.
11. kadima 30 seats---------G-D forbid
Stephanie ,   Israel   (11.23.08)
12. Kadima, win 30 seats? Are they smoking crack?
Yoni ,   Chiloquin   (11.23.08)
If they had won the Lebanon war, If Peretz hadn't looked through capped field glasses and told everyone he saw it. If they had kicked Olmert to the curb, if they had not given the convicted sexual predator Ramon a top job. If they had not had the expulsion in the Gush. If they had stopped the rocket fire, if they has set Gilad Shalit free. If they had not let Samir Kuntar free for corpses. Had they had a perfect track record maybe they would get 15 seats. Then again we have the "Israeli" sabra mentality that actually believes they have a real democracy. So if I were a betting human and I am not I would bet Kadima gets 20 seats or less.
13. #8 Dr Dave, yes just like Jews who desert Israel
Avi ,   Ramat Gan   (11.23.08)
Ummm just like Jews who dont live in Israel and just sit in the comfort of their homes in the US telling us how to live our lives here in Israel ! what a hypocrite.
14. 30 kadima seats
spud murphy   (11.23.08)
Tzipi obviously has a lot of wet dream.ms!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
15. Kadima budgets $305,248 for each Knesset member.
Terry ,   Eilat, Israel   (11.23.08)
That's about $348,247 more than they're worth, and I'm being kind. Personally, I would be willing to pay them the $348,000 to leave the country, go anywhere, just go. They think they'll get 30 seats - realistically, I think they'll get under 25, maybe as low as 20. My reasoning, although unscientific obviously, is that the security situation will deteriorate. Israelis move further right when there are security issues. Further, there will be leaks about Livni's sneaky negotiations with Abbas. There is also the Syrian question & I have no doubt Olmert will be a ''spoiler'' - talk about ceding the Golan is almost as unacceptable to most Israelis as dividing Jerusalem. Normally, the above would indicate a landslide for the right but it will be balanced by an economic deterioration & fear of Netanyahu's policies in that regard - many Israelis have zero understanding of economics & believe the propaganda that Netanyahu is somehow ''bad for the poor'' although the contrary is true. So my '' best guess' is the under 25 seats & I'll be very surprised if they get more. With our crappy system of proportional representation, this means another coalition & plenty of sleezy deal-making, including forming a coalition with Kadima. Very unfortunate but our lousy system just does not offer a chance to get rid of the worst of our politicians.
16. change.... hm.... where have i heard that before?
YY ,   Greece   (11.23.08)
will they present a black candidate too?
17. Kadima will be history after Feb. 10.
Wise Saba ,   Western Neg   (11.23.08)
Labor under Barach will do even worse. BIBI FOR PRIME MINISTER. YES!
18. while they are betting
Moish ,   Jerusalem   (11.23.08)
how about Kadima betting that Arik Sharon will return to lead them again???? That chance is as realistic as their 30 seats
19. not 30, count on 24 to 27 seats instead
king of Israel ,   Kaohsiung, Taiwan   (11.23.08)
Bibi is in trouble, however, Kadiam must change tactics before god outcome can happen in coming election.
20. Where there's smoke
Gideon Reader   (11.23.08)
And after the disasterous draw to an inside straight, the K-crats will head over to the three card monte table, AND arm wrestle for money, the smallish, quiet gentleman sitting in the corner with the slight smile on his lips. Thirty seats? Thirty? Listne; Bubbleh,...consuming intoxicants in that quantity is not healthy for any polititurd, particularly with the (non)performance record of the Kadimacomics. Slow down if you cannot quit totally.
21. Vision
Yehudi ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (11.23.08)
Livi has a vision for the future of Israel. She will strive for peace and security. Netanyahu has not changed. He will simply lead us into another stalemate. Peace is not possible under Likud. A Netanyahu government will result in intafada three.
22. TO # 21
FAD EGYPT   (11.23.08)
U R WRONG BIBI POLICY DOESNT BRING INTIFADA ON THE CONTRARY IF U REMEMBER BEFORE BECOMING PRIME MINISTER IN 1996 THERE WAS VIOLENCE AND SUICIDEE BOMBING HE SUCCEDED IN STOPPING THE VIOLENCE AND THE BOMBING DURING HIS TENURE AS PRIME MINISTER AND LEFT IN 1999 WHEN THERE IS SECURITY ON THE OTHER HAND LIVNI POLICY IS LOOKING LIKE BARAK POLICY DURING CAMP DAVID WHICH ENDED WITH THE INTIFADA I BELIEVE THAT LIVNI WILL NEVER REACH AGREEMENT WITH PALESTINIANS BECAUSE THE PAL WANT EVERYTHING WANT EAST JERUSALEM WANT TEMPLE MOUNT WANT RIGHT OF RETURN WANT 67 BORDERS DO U THINK THAT THE ISRAELIS WILL AGREE TO THIS IF NOT THERE WILL BE INTIFADA IF YES AND LIVNI AGREES SO ISRAEL DEATH WILL BE SPELLED BECAUSE HAMAS WILL TAKE OVER AND DESTROY ISRAEL WAKE UP AND VOTE LIKUD TH ONLY PARTY FOR PEACE SHALOM
23. #22 Fad, Egypt.

25. 30 seats
alexi   (11.24.08)
Wishfull thinking Attila, keep dreaming. Here in my opinion will be the numbers even with Obama and Kadima trashing Netanyahu: 1) Likud 32-40 2) Kadima 16-25 3) labor 8-14 4) Beiteinu 8-12 5) Meretz 5-8 6)Shas 7-10 7)Our home 5-9 Likud will join Beiteinu, Our home, and shas or it could join kadima and beiteinu and forget about shas who are a bunch of money grubbers and idf shirkers combined with who mubarak called a weird guy in Josef, who though learned in tanach, is a money-grubbing pretender to some christ-throne with his lapdog yishai. No, kadima has to pay the price for the number one coward of all time Ehud Olmert and labor has to pay the price of ignormaus Peretz. Labor also had to pay the price for Barak for his empty boasting. Kadima also has to atone for Ramon,an idiot of historic proportions, and the other buffoons who sat there like statues(including Livni)with Olmert while he was plotting the hezbollah war. Why didn't they seek another opinion, about how to outflank and fight asymmetric IED, rocket warfare by islamics drugged in hardened bunkers? You destroy village by village. All the nature reserve areas and towns that had such bunkers should have been warned and then levelled and made uninhabitable. No superman soldier of any army can defeat such a bunker arrangement directly, its impossible and a form of suicide. You use the local inhabitants who support hezbollah against hezbollah as shields and fodder. You want to live you do it. You want to die, you follow the advice of Mazzuzz. israel dosen't need barak to tell them hezbollah has 42,000 missiles of all lengths and that Barak has wartime experience. Do something and stop talking. Stockpile 40,000 rockets with flechettes and fire them right in arab towns if hez fires at Israel. And you know Kuntar, get him now! Likud will join beiteinu
