1. Let Hamass take over.....please!
JAy ,   Israel   (11.23.08)
Then we can get rid of them and have peace! Israel would then would have a good enough excuse, to the international community, to get rid of these terrorists that are pretending to be Palastinians! The mere notion of a Palastinain people only gives the Arabs all over the middle east an excuse to attack us.....No Palestine no excuses! We can dispel the bogus myth of a Palastinian state and either integrated the Arabs as Israelis, or send them back to Jordan,Syria and Egypt. where they came from...Their choice!
2. Abbas is full of it.........
Alan ,   U.S   (11.23.08)
This man who claims peace (LOL) recently went to Beirut and visited Samir Kuntar the avowed Jew Killer. This whole sham between Hamas and Fatah is but a replication of a cheap grade b move with more holes than swiss cheese! Face it friends, there is no difference between Hamas and Fatah. (check out their charters which call for the destruction of Israel and their virulent propaganda. One example: showing all of Israel, Palestine. The only difference perhaps is Mashaal fairly honest with his intentions and Abbas is a bold faced liar who speaks of peace in English to the West while the WEST/Israel 'DELIBERATELY IGNORES' WHAT HE 'PREACHES' IN ARABIC!!!
3. get the chance of peace with Abbas
Bilal ,   Gaza Strip   (11.23.08)
i think you, the israelis, don't want peace. we gave up our land and you don't want to accept us. you wanna know a little secret: Abbas is a man of peace. he really wants peace, and he wants to solve issues with you. i believe that we can share this land
4. Alan, you should read Jay's post #1
James Hovland ,   California   (11.23.08)
First line "Then we can get rid of them" Consider your complaint about the Palestinians here... "showing all of Israel, Palestine. " Now compare that to Jay's comment.... "No Palestine no excuses!" Jay thinks all Palestinians came from somewhere else. His plan... "We can dispel the bogus myth of a Palastinian state " "send them back to Jordan,Syria and Egypt." The land was not empty and ripe for the taking. 1/3 Jewish, and 2/3 Arab in 1947, and far less Jews before that. The Partition was rejected because of the 50/50 split. Was 50% to 33% fair? And 50% to 66% fair? Just think about it.

6. #5 James - what 50-50? More like 80-20
Eric ,   Tel Aviv   (11.24.08)
If you consider that the original land allocated under the British mandate included all of Jordan, and that the Brits were supposed to split all of it 50-50 between the Jews and the Arabs then you get Israel being allocated less than 20% of the original. 1st take half and give it to their friends (the minority Arabs in TransJordan) 2nd then take what is left and split it 50-50 in a patchwork plan that would not work for farming let alone governing. Then you get the '48 agreement.
