Yishai Kohen ,   YeShA, Israel   (12.01.08)
Bread OR qassams. Butter OR bombs. Water OR mortars. Gasoline OR katyushas. Electricity OR bullets. But not both. The Philistines chose the latter. Oh well. That was their choice. .
5. Libyan Ship
Joel ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (12.01.08)
Why does your supposed photo of a "Foreign Ship" fly a Greek flag, if the article is about a Libyan ship? What you have done, while it is not exactly dishonest, is not exactly honest either. You are navigating in grey waters.
6. Sometimes. you have to be cruel to be kind

Talula ,   Israel   (12.01.08)
And while it's shut - The Israeli hater should think about WHY the Gazan's are sealed off from the outside world. It's not rocket science, it's not protons and neutrons it's not even nucleus and electrons. It's because of continual rocket fire in the south of the country. Instead of barking at everyone to feed the Palestinians, maybe he should apply himself to finding the root of the problems. Has MK Tibi studied Cause and Effect. Has ANY Arab studied Cause and Effect. They really should. It’s so simple, rockets mean no food, no bread, no medical care, no fuel, and no basic needs. CAUSE AND EFFECT!
8. OTHER AID??? DID YOU MEAN WEAPONS AND EXPLOSIVES???
stude ham   (12.01.08)
maybe lybia should have asked peace now for help...
9. israel turns back ship
debbie ,   israel   (12.01.08)
If this ship was carrying, as the article claims, humanitarian aid, food, medicines, etc., why did they feel the need to camouflage the ship with a Greek flag? I am positive, that had a search been done of the boat, explosives and ammuniton would have been found.
10. #2 The "pals" are lucky

that Israel doesn't act like most countries. Most countries would destroy any enemy that would fire missles at them daily.

theviper311 ,   Hymie Town   (12.01.08)
all sovereign nations have the right to inspect all shipping in their waters both when departing or entering the internationally recognized 12 mile limit. this prevents smuggling of contraband in and kidnapped soldiers on the return. keep it up Israel. the law protects you even though the UN does not.
13. If hamas (violence in hebrew) thinks!
ecr   (12.01.08)
If they think they can have a country (laugh a minute) themselves, so why do they need aid from others, including Israel? Spend the $$$ on food instead a weapons of war and you won't need aid. Wake up world!! Wasn't Mumbai enough of a wake up call? Poor arabs.

Poor Arabs? What was the connection between Arabs and Mumbai exactly?
15. Docked at an Egyptian port?????
JAyjay3 ,   Israel   (12.01.08)
So why arent they bringing it in through the Egyptian order crossing? Also there is no way those boats in the picture could hold 3000 tonns of food! You realise how big one ship would have to be to store that amount of food? All propaganda bull!
16. #2
Norman ,   Philippines   (12.02.08)
They don't threat their enemies humanely, so why do they ask for it?
17. Democratic Israel
Libyan Guy   (12.02.08)
This is to remind you that because of your democratic siege of Gaza, you are also punishing the Palestinian babies that are dieing in the incubators in Gaza hospitals because no electricity is there due to the lack of fuel supplies. The hunger policy of democratic Israel will only bring more hate to the already so much hated Israeli people. The fact is that if a civilian ship from Libya or any other country comes in with aid, shows us that you really forgot your recent history, where your parents suffered the worst and ugliest Nazi Hitler regime but its seams that you are doing all what you can to continue with this tradition and show us what really your democracy is about. Do you remember the Libyan Arab airlines flight that you shutdown on 21 February 1973 (http://usa.mediamonitors.net/layout/set/print/content/view/full/49348). We Libyans have an open account with Israel on that, maybe Israel will pay us also millions of dollars to avoid ending in the international crimes court, ohhh, no that one is only for those who you decide to send to, maybe the smell of dead burned meat is something that opens the appetite of Israeli people and the wish to continue doing the same with Palestinian children is just the there … are you living on another planet or you are overwhelmed by your god stuff of being the beloved one or crap of that kind ? beloved for what ? for killing ? for being better then the rest f humanity ? you people are really sick in your minds and maybe if you tell us how many atomic bombs you have, then we might also understand why Iran wants so much the bomb … but I think that Hezbollah is just more then enough for you. Long live democratic Israel and its beloved Jews and may god give you the peace that you lost more then 4000 years ago because of the holy cow … which is another story that you know better then me but still you are the last remaining racist regimes on this planet and one day will come soon or later and the wind of change will refresh your brains. Let this ship bring food to Palestinian children and remember that history never forgives. Salam … shalom
