What a pity you didn't read the article. The information was not from Mrs Clinton's mouth but from a Syrian official. Even if Mrs Clinton did go on record stating that she wants better relations with the government of Syria and is eager to see a peace treaty, that does not make her "anti-Israel". Any idiot with half a cent of intelligence would notice that Israel has not fought any recent wars with those neighbours with which it has signed a peace treaty - i.e. Jordan and Egypt. To turn all this around into a sophomoric rhetorical question really shows the knee-jerkism of some readers. Perhaps you should try re-reading the article in terms of "pro-war" or "anti-war" - and you might come to the conclusion that any reasonable person is anti-war, and in fact all those "pro-war" rightist freakos are Israel's worst enemies - willing to see their fellow citizens die needlessly.
