All lies! The Israeli kids and parents are tolerant, relaxed, modest, gentle, polite and...and...good car drivers!!!

So are their parents and even grandparents.It is due to the daily stresses of living in a country where you don't know if you will be a victim of a terror attack on the bus on the way to school,home, or if your parents will be. Youth here have to deal with that every day, as well as over crowded classrooms, teachers that can't teach and bullys. I am sure that if our kids had lives that allowed them to act like kids and not worry about their survival they wouldn't be so irritable. You wonder why so many of the young people here move abroad the first chance they get....too much stress here in our daily lives,I have the gray hairs to prove it, and I am only 30!

I got to read about the kids in Slovakia who are cited as feeling angry every day. Utter rubbish!

...probably comes from being under the threat of terrorist attacks and being surrounded by (mostly) non-peaceful neighbors. Anyone ever live in a tough neighborhood? Who wouldn't be irritable? Time to fight back!

Sir, I brought my children up in Israel until ages 6 and 8 when we moved to the UK, my daughter returned to Israel 3 years ago, of her own choice aged 13. My opinion on the research figures is that Israeli parents are more alert to illness and more prone to worry (neurotic?) about family health issues than in other countries. This is due to the new generation of parents who removed the word "no" from their lexicon. Israeli children are loud, inconsiderate and demanding. This is a trend seen in other affluent countries, but not like here. Parents should TAKE RESPONSIBILITY

If the adults behave so badly, arrogant and agressive, what would you expect from their children. Israel: in regards to your children, you are getting what you deserve. No discipline, no manners, no ethics, no respect.

I am irritable on a daily basis by the things that go on here. Isac from Florida (#21) is absolutely right - the behavior of people in this country sucks. Blaming it on anti-semitism means taking zero responsibility for our own behavior.
