1. illegal and theocratic
john   (12.09.08)
dont understand the mamash but it sounds highly illegal and a disregard for peoples choices this is what it is same goes for obama
2. PIECE OF WORK
DAVID ,   JUDEA   (12.09.08)
This Bibi guy is the worst, at least with the leftwing nut cases , that are destroying this country , one knows what kind of fools one is dealing with. Bibi is giving the impression of being on the right, but is the same weakling with the same tunnel vision towards destruction as the current loosers. He will walk the same path of utmost stupidity and confusion, bringing nothing new.
3. Netanyahu does not deserve to be PM
aL   (12.09.08)
This boob will make Olmert look like a Saint. He is not to be trrusted at all. israel is on marked time. Nothing and no one can save Israel. It is doomed to fail and to fail badly. G-d has basically given up on you. Listen we lost two Beit Mikrash, why do you a country that denies his very existance will fair better? Witness the fact that even the so called religious have become pagen. Lubavitch in response to the terrorism which claimed the lives of two of their own, responded with the oxymoronic expression. "WE WILL FIGHT TERROR WITH KINDNESS AND TORCHES". They have become the new Christians. Such it is in israel today. The Jews have stopped being Jews. They have become imbeciles.
4. Bibi looks so much more handsome in glasses. Maybe
(12.09.08)
that's because I am a girl who wears glasses and girls who don't make passes at men who wear glasses are asses, to paraphrase Ogden Nash.
5. Attila has a thing for Likud men
Harry ,   Frisco, USA   (12.09.08)
Go easy, Attila. If you are so much in love with Left-Wing men come to live in San-Francisco.
6. I've been a longtime Bibi supporter
RobertK ,   Jerusalem   (12.09.08)
but now I wonder. If he wants Likud to be a Left party and so badly wanted to bring in left-wingers like Hefetz and Dayan, what's the point of having elections? The people in the Likud top 10 are actually highly intelligent, realistic, committed Zionists--admirable, fit to lead Israel. Bibi can't even make a case for them? Bibi, you've always been a strange mix of brilliance and poor judgment. Is your bad judgment tripping you up again? We wanted a change, not another switcheroo--Sharon who ran for Likud and became a leftist, Olmert who ran for Kadima and became a radical leftist--et tu?
7. Likud is aright wing extremist party
Yossi   (12.09.08)
Netanyahu have to accept that his party control by anti peace extremists. His options, to move to Kadima party or annex the West Bank and officially declare that non Jews no rights some the same line as South Africa during the apartheid
8. Won't work, but Feiglin's days in Likud are numbered anyways
JPS ,   Efrat   (12.09.08)
Nobody can see Feiglin sticking around if Bibi becomes PM and the government has to do what it always does - free up some prisoners, make some concessions. Any concession by a Likud government would be such an anathema to Feiglin he'll have to either resign from Likud (unlikely) or split off and take his followers into a new Zu Artzenu faction. Like other splitters before him, he'll survive to the end of the Knesset, then never get elected again.
9. Netanyahu concider the times ahead
Psalms83 ,   Selah   (12.09.08)
Hamas and Hisbellah have no interest in peace or a two state solution and fatah is not far behind... letting the Globalist and international pressure drive Politcaly Correct policy in israel is not in Israels best interest.... Bibical prophcey of future events bears this out... do not ignore the concerns of the right....
10. #4: You know you make a good case...
Steve   (12.09.08)
....that enfranshising women was a huge mistake. You know that, don't you? You are not doing much to help the image of your gender.
11. We all make mistakes. Even I.
Gideon Reader   (12.09.08)
This action is a major tactical error, and a minor strategic error. Co-option and finding a meeting between ideolog and viewpoint y is the answer. This serves only the presstitutes and the polititurds of the left. Everyonce in a while the star of the shgow has to be magnamious. It portends survival.
12. 4 Watch it, Aleph, Bibi's mine.Youhad your chance and muffed
(12.09.08)
13. The Left is Completely Hysterical
Lisa Levy ,   Jerusalem   (12.09.08)
You can tell the Left feels threatened by their hysterical cries of: "Hooligans running the Likud! Hooligans running the Likud!" And Bibi is buying it all! THEY ARE ALL SUCH LOSERS! LET FEIGLIN BE PRIME MINISTER. HE'LL DO SUCH A BETTER JOB THAN THESE RECYCLED LOSERS!
14. Duly elected representitives...
Racheal ,   Rehovot   (12.09.08)
Why let a little thing like the will of the people stand in the way of democracy? Let's fill the roster with yes men, it's much more fun that way.
15. Netanyahu and Feiglin
Sammy ,   Rishon   (12.09.08)
Netanyahu is afraid that the composition of the list greatly damages the Likud's standing with the public??? What public? The Likud public which voted for these people? And could potentially lead to a significant drop in the polls? Drop from whom? These are the people the Likud voters voted for! Netanyahu better be careful. He is digging his own grave. If he knew how rotten he looks, he'd not only shake Feiglin's hand; he'd make him his second in command. support the party currently enjoys in the polls
16. If Feiglin goes, so does my vote!
Tamar ,   Israel   (12.09.08)
If that's the illegal, corrupt path Netanyahu wants to take than he loses my vote, and hopefully of many others! This is a disgusting disregard of democracy and the democractic choices taken by the members of Likud. I'm done paying a yearly membership fee to be part of Likud and vote in the primaries. Clearly my vote doesn't matter.
17. If true, the Jews in Israel have reached a new low.
Steve ,   US   (12.09.08)
YNet wrote: "Sources involved in the party's campaign told Ynet on Tuesday evening that the composition of the list greatly damages the Likud's standing with the public, and could potentially lead to a significant drop in the support the party currently enjoys in the polls." For heaven sakes, is the Jewish publc in Israel this pathetic, they cannot even tolerate Feiglin in the Knesset? Or is Mr. Netanyahu this pathetic? Which is it?
18. shame on BIBI
(12.09.08)
Shame ugly politics
19. Netanyahu still pushing to oust Feiglin
Sam Lottner ,   Petach Tikva   (12.09.08)
An Open Letter to Bibi Get rid of your consultants or go home. If you are the leader, then get out to the nation instead of looking at the surveys and work for a mandate of 70 plus. The people are waiting to hear what the Likud really stands for and not what the media says. Prove that the garbage promoted by the extreme left and center left has been absolutely disastrous for the entire nation. In fact the left is no left and the center is what was formerly left. The media were able to create a major shift leftward and you fall for it lock stack and barrel. Get out there and start using your ability to convince the people that you are looking forward to getting a majority mandate so that the country can get down to the business of improving education, stressing human and Jewish values, dealing with the security situation, getting Pollard released, and stop the wheeling and dealing with the Hamas and PLO . The past negotiators have been disastrous. Olmert has an agenda that is far superior to anything our enemies could have planned for in planting a foreign agent to run this country. Shalit does not deserve the treatment he is getting. If the top 50 of Hamasnicks were rounded up, held incommunicado until Shalit is released in good health, he would be released. I am sure that the IDF has other plans if Shalit is not released quickly. Our enemies respect power and the USA respects status quo which you have to change. You don’t sound like a leader especially when your pitch is to attack the people who want to help. I always understood that Likud means bringing together not separating. So get rid of your advisors, look in the mirror and say, I don’t want to be the chairman of a committee of party leaders who made mud of me in the prior elections but a real leader. You can do it.
20. Bibi's days in Likud are numbered
Gee ,   Zikron Yaakov   (12.09.08)
He does not own the party. The Likud voters own it. If the party leader is out of step with the membership then it's time for a new leader.
21. Tamar #16: You know what?
Steve ,   US   (12.09.08)
I can't really blame you. This is a cheap trick on Mr. Netanyahu's part. He needs to stand up and be a man. Otherwise, he should step aside for genuine men to assume leadership of the country..
22. Sam #19: I hate to tell you Bro
Steve ,   US   (12.10.08)
You are living in la-la land. This man, "Bibi" Netanyahu is emboldening Israel's enemies as I write. Have you seen what they've been doing in the UN lately? Have you read what the UN "Human Rights" Committee called for today? Did you know we elected a Muslim president here in the U.S.? Do you see what the European Uniion is doing and saying about Israel. This is NO time for weak leaders. Israel needs a man. Netanyahu is clearly not a man.
23. Stop being sheep! Look who wrote this article
Freejew ,   Israel   (12.10.08)
Can anyone believe this leftists view of Bibi? Attila has never supported the right and continually puts out slander. Remember, its only the leftist media thats making these accusations.
24. Excellent point #23 !!! no more need be said.
Yisraeli   (12.10.08)
25. It seems Bibi's view of democracy is the same as Arik Sharon
LEE ,   NY, USA   (12.10.08)
... non-existent. Didn't Bibi want to give the image of cleaning corruption in the Likud? This attempt to stomp on democratic princinples and rid the election of people choices is utter corruption. Bibi fits to be somewhere around the 40th spot on the Likud. Unfortunately, this is a sign of things to come. The old Bibi reverts to his nature and Feiglin is on the money: you choose left, you get left, you choose right, you get left also. People see this clearly now and if Feiglin doesn't get the spot he deserves, the Likud will suffer greatly in the polls.
26. His elections to lose
Israel Israeli ,   Tel Aviv   (12.10.08)
If this story is true, then maybe Netanyahu wants to lose the elections. Feiglin is number 20 in the Likud list. He is not the problem. So it means that Netanyahu wants to get rid of real Likudniks like Saar, Ardan and Rivlin and replace them with Uzi Dayan and maybe Mofaz. Instead, Netanyahu should resign, make a new party called "Forward" and let Saar run the Likud.
27. it's official
nate ,   Canada   (12.10.08)
Bibi is a stooge just like the leaders of the other major parties. How undemocratic of him to do this? This is who the registered likudniks voted for, how dare he?Loser
28. FreeJew #23
Steve ,   US   (12.10.08)
Is it just possible the reporter has it right and Netanyahu is a weak man?
29. Please Understand
Bibi ,   Israel   (12.10.08)
My fellow citizens. The U.S. Establishment has given me the green light to rule Israel as long as I do not have any who opposed surrendering our land to the Islamic terrorists on the Likud List. Please understand that regaining power is more important to me than you or Israel are and that the game is played by being submissive to Washingtons interests. After that nothing else really matters. signed, Benji the toy poodle in Washington's pocket
30. 10 Steve...I think it is a huge mistake for men not to
(12.10.08)
support women relatives: wives, sisters, daughters, nieces, aunts, cousins, grandmas, mothers. Women got the vote because men were denying the faith: not supporting them or putting them into mental hospitals to escape being responsible for them. Archibald Leach, better known as Actor Cary Grant, lost his mother at age six because his father misused his authority and put his wife and the mother of his child into a sanitarium in Britain for life because he did not like her. Cary Grant was a grown man and successful actor who was told most of his life his mother was dead. When he found out what happened to her, he got her out of the sanitarium and nursed her for the rest of her life. He cherished his mother and provided for her. But most men are not like that. They don't even want to support their children unless they are forced to. So women go the vote because there were so many injustices they suffered that they had to provide for themselves and defend each other from cads who hate them for being stupid enough to get married and love a man enough to have his children.
