Ariel ,   Not There   (12.11.08)
2. Israel's democracy at its best!
nethanel ,   jerusalem   (12.11.08)
Obvious to all, like in Sharon's time, the rules were changed during or even after the game. Feiglin is correctly sensed as an enemy to the political establishment of Osloids and corruptionists, and it is simply proofing that Feiglin right and a change is more than overdue.
3. MANY THANKS TO BIBI FROM LIVNI AND BARAK
USA   (12.11.08)
FOR SAVING THEIR PARTIES.
4. Israeli democrazy has got to be the most corupt in the world
(12.11.08)
5. Israeli system makes me sick
(12.11.08)
Voting for a party lists, inested of individuals, banning parties for being "racist", machinations, political back door dealings, All of Israel is one big fraud and the elite are nothing but criminals. Bibi is acting like crime boss Don.
6. Likud will get no more than 22 seats
Mike ,   Haifa   (12.11.08)
Vote for Kadima. At least you know what you get. Bibi corrupt.
7. Bibi is doing a Sharon
Rafael ,   Belen. NM USA   (12.11.08)
BibI is caving in to the US State Dept. the UN and the EU. He is betraying Israel. He cannot be trusted. Only Elohim can save Israel Untill Israel lerns this there is no hope.
8. most stupid decision
Alex ,   Israel   (12.11.08)
Likud, this is a most stupid decision you could make before elections. Fix it or your mandates will go to Liberman.
9. Mr. BiBI Scumbag
spud murphy   (12.11.08)
As a likud member I am disgusted with this Stalinst tactic. BIBI has man have won a small a small battle but he will fail when the real batle begins. I and thousands more will work solely for his downfall.
10. Netanyahu
i ,   j   (12.11.08)
is a two faced two bit tyrant and is unfit for democratic leadership. If there is not a revolution in the Likud to dump him as pm, they will get and deserve a drubbing in the polls. We do not need another Sharon to ignore the charter of the party and run roughshod over the will of the voters and over common decency!
11. I am disgusted!
Shalom   (12.11.08)
If the voters want Feiglin, they should get him. I am totally disgusted with Bibi. He's showing his true colors and will lose votes for it.
12. Israeli politics are pretty slimy.
Terry ,   Eilat, Israel   (12.11.08)
If we don't change our political system soon & get rid of this undemocratic Party List system & go for a district system with direct accountability to the voters, individual candidates who reflect our views, this country is headed for disaster. I'm not a Feiglin supporter myself but he is being treated most unfairly. I have to say that Netanyahu needs the Likud more than the Likud needs Netanyahu. I would also say that there are other Right-wing parties to vote for.
13. BIG MISTAKE, BIBI!!!!!!!!!!!!
ln ,   usa   (12.11.08)
I wanted to see you victorious, but when you go against your own people's wishes then you don't deserve to be elected. Let me remind you that Ariel Sharon went AGAINST his parties wishes over Gush Katif and look at his situation, the countries situation. I thought that Bibi was smarter than that! WHAT A DIAPPOINTMENT!
14. Voter Disenfranchisement
AB ,   Brooklyn, USA   (12.11.08)
It is a crime in a democracy to change the outcome after the voters have spoken. This is worse than Sharon flip flopping on disengagement. Netenyahu has lost any respect he had left. Netenyahu seems to spend much of his time squabbling with his own battles with the right instead of fighting the national threats facing all of us. He can't get away with reshuffling the deck after the cards have been dealt. If there is any justice left in Israel Feiglin should win this round.
15. Netanyahu brings shame to all of Israel
Steve ,   US   (12.11.08)
This thuggishness on Mr. Netanyahu's part is shameful and disgraceful. Benjamin Netanyhu looks little and petty in all of this. It would appear, Netanyahu is unwilling to brook any challenge from principled men. Thus he seeks to stifle them; to sideline them; to shut them out of the process. I was willing to give the man the benefit of the doubt, even after Wye River, and then he does this.
16. Likud as bad as Kadima & Labor
Marcel ,   Florida   (12.11.08)
Bibi proves to be a fraud who serves the Quartet and their final solution Road Map. He has been chosen to lead the ethnic cleansing of fellow Jews from Judea and Samaria and Feiglin is a threat to this globalist /Likud agenda.
17. Disgusting
Mike Seid ,   Tel Aviv, Israel   (12.11.08)
Shame on you, Bibi. Shame shame shame.
18. All the More So, Vote Likud
J Hartman ,   Israel   (12.11.08)
This is not even close to the end of the battle, and the list is is very chazak. About 40 mandates will do it, Moshe is not alone. Right now it's to Bibi's advantage to have a smaller list and make a coalition with Kadima, then to have 39-40 MKs, the majority not pliable. BTW, register in the Likud, and you can have the chance to send Bibi to Kadima next time.
19. 3rd world political system
Mitch ,   USA   (12.11.08)
Just when it seemed the right was uniting, Bibi had to resort to his usual sleazy tactics and disenfranchise a sizable part of the country. Same old corrupt politics. It's incredible that this is allowed in such a "westernized" nation.
20. THIS IS NOT DEMOCRACY
sammy d ,   jerusalem , israel   (12.11.08)
Putting aside this loss for the jewish right wing , this move in completely un-democratic. Votes are votes , and the and the people voted Feiglin in for that spot. Bibi is threatened and therefore democracy ceases to exist?Complete stupidity. To add insult to injury , Bibi now claims his intentions were not to bump Feiglin back to 35??!! Yeah , Bibi was aiming for 40. This is not democracy. Shame on Bibi , shame on the likud court , and shame on the comitee. This makes me sick enough to vote meretz - g-d forbid.
21. TOLD YOU SO!!
DAVID ,   JUDEA   (12.11.08)
I have written this a number of times before, Bibi is the same garbage that is the make up in the politics here. He is a lowlife first class and has nothing new to offer. He will stay on the same destructive path as the rest of these jerks. But people are stupid when it comes to politics and have no memory, just remember Bibi was a worthless PM, who gave Hevron away.
22. Things change when you're in charge
Aryeh ,   Haifa   (12.11.08)
I am no fan of Likud, Bibi, and for sure Feiglin. However, all you bashers of our leaders seem to not realize one thing. When you are in charge of leading a country, things look much differently than being in the opposition or sidelines. You tend to move more to the center regardless of ideology. The center is much closer to the general view of the public than are the extremes. That's what is happening to Obama, Bibi, and has happened to others in the past. If Feiglin was elected prime minister of Israel today, he too would move closer to the center. The pressures on a leader are immense, and the last thing an Israeli leader would want to do, is totally alienate the United States. That's easy to do here in the talkbacks, but not very wise in the real world. It's easy to spew a lot of nonsense when you are not in charge.
23. Makes Chicago look tame
Michael ,   Baltimore, MD USA   (12.11.08)
Maybe they should sell the slots to the highest bidder like the Governor of Illinois? That way they can raise some cash to boot!
24. Feiglin should try to unseat BIBI
JAY ,   NY USA   (12.11.08)
Instead of only trying to get back his own seat, I think that Feiglin should try to attack BIBI as unfit for being a candidate for prime minister because of his corruption. He should try to get those that made the obvious political ruling against him as corrupted and thus unfit for office. They could have push him one slot to 21 if they really had a good reason to push him but sending him to #36 it looks to me as corruption on the first degree. If Bibi is corrupted, Feiglin was #2 in the elections and should have first place in the list. Feiglin go for it. Hatzlacha!!!!!!!
25. I've always said Netanyahu is a moron
Al   (12.11.08)
He is not to be trusted period. He will sell out Israel as Olmert. israel is cooked no matter who is running this sinking ship. Her very days are numbered I am afraid.
26. will we see more when he is elected
larry ,   chicago   (12.11.08)
how can likud and Netenyahu be so blatant in their hate of Feiglin? If he won fair and square, this is a gross misuse of his power. Will we see more when he is elected?
27. CORRUPTION !!!!!!!
Alon Frank ,   Beth Shemesh, Israel   (12.11.08)
Bibi, You're so corrupt that Feiglin will take over your seat before you know it. SHAME ON YOU !!! Feiglin, you'll come out stronger out of this battle ! We are with you.
28. Bibi, you SoB
Abe Froman ,   NY, NY   (12.11.08)
If Bibi can't have his way in an election he'll get his way via some back-room plot. I hope Feiglin takes this to court, because it's obvious Netanyahu is in the wrong.
29. The insanely stupid Miri Regev was moved to 27
Laura ,   Israel   (12.11.08)
The list was voted in an election. Playing with the list is tampering. It is grossly unfair. Bibi must restore everyone to their original places.
30. Bibi, better look at the comments on the Internet
m   (12.11.08)
You are shooting yourself in the leg. Am Israel is fed up with manipulations, you are going to lose and the left is laughing at you like crazy. They don't need to work hard to defeat you after this behaviour. For a few votes in the middle you are risking all the votes in the right.
