1. Feiglin we are with you !!!
(12.13.08)
2. feiglin-be quiet already. you & bb are going to ruin it all
Randi ,   Jerusalem   (12.13.08)
3. BN's actions bring further shame to the political system
Tracy W   (12.13.08)
and to the whole country. Feiglin is Israel's conscience right now, whether people agree ideologically with him or not. This is a matter of principle. Moshe understands that the present situation in the Likud affects all Israelis and is a test for everyone, particularly for the members of the party. Which leads me to the next question: why are the pro-Netanyahu candidates so quiet? Where are THEIR principles? By keeping silent about this abuse of power they are becoming complicit with it, and with what is nothing less than a power grab, a violation of the democratic rights of citizens to elect whoever they choose. This is the time for decent men and women to speak up and to act forcefully to stop Netanyahu from hijacking the Likud. The party belongs to Likud members. It's not Netanyahu's personal property.
4. Feiglin...Should I waste my vote again?
David ,   Shilo ISRAEL   (12.13.08)
Sorry, but last time I thought I was voting Likud, I unkowingly ended up helping to create Kadima instead, whilst also sealing the fate of Gush Katif refugees. I need you, Moishe Feiglin, to convince me how you intend stopping Likud (whilst inside the party) from 'evicting' me from my legally purchased home in Shilo? Meanwhile, you're asking me to elect the very party that might intend screwing us, as there's been no statement saying otherwise! Maybe you could take a lead from Olmert & Sharon who had enough faith to establish a new party to echo their beleifs, with Kadima? Unless you either head a new party, or convince me on less than prophetic arguments, this voter is going to turn away from Likud because of dumping you and going against the wishes of its party members. I don't think I'm alone!
5. Simply a very dangerous man.
DkS ,   J'lem   (12.13.08)
A lunatic who thinks he's on a God-given mission to take over the country. God help us all indeed.
6. #4 POST OF THE YEAR! Send that to feiglin
Jae ,   Lynn US   (12.13.08)
I too dont have much currency in quasi prophetic thoughts. We need solutions to come out of Feiglin's lips, not vague declarations, in a crisis situation in Israel that is anything but vague. The intent of olmert, the media and the meretz occupied Suprme Court are decidedly leftist.
7. Facist Feiglin belongs to the extreme far right
Realist   (12.13.08)
Knowing he won't gather enough support by Israeli voters if he would be part of a far right party, he is trying to take a ride on the back of Likud that represents the moderate right.
8. Feiglin, you are so Right!
Aryeh ,   Bet Shemesh ISRAEL   (12.13.08)
Mr. Feiglin, your words are so true and on the mark! We will help the Likud get at least 36 seats, and you will be a member of Knesset DESPITE all "their" attempts to throw you out.
9. Netanyahu
Israel Israeli ,   Tel Aviv   (12.13.08)
Netanyahu is talented, but is no leader. He brought Roni Bar-on and Lieberman into politics, but he drove them away with his arrogance. On the eve of the great Likud victory he wasted his time fighting Feiglin instead of Livni. He increased Feiglin's importance and sullied himself, without thinking how the voters see this childish behavior. Netanyahu should consider taking a lower spot on the Likud list and let a real leader take over.
10. #4
Israel Israelli ,   Tel Aviv   (12.13.08)
The small Right wing parties have failed in the past, remember Mafdal sitting with Barak or Tzomet supporting Oslo II. A Livni victory would mean negotiations START with Israel retreating to 1967 lines (including all of the Golan and Jordan Valley), at least 50000 Jewish refugees and at least 5000 Arabs to move into Israel. The Likud is the Likud, not Netanyahu and the list is filled with good people. If Netanyahu tries to steal the Likud votes and join Kadima, at most 7 MKs from the top 30 will join him.
11. Feiglin is truth. Bibi a Bully Shook Arafats hand
Shlomo W ,   RBS   (12.14.08)
12. 36 for 1?
Emuna ,   Rehovot   (12.14.08)
Does Feiglin think that everyone is dense? If we want extreme right, there's Lieberman. If we want Judaism, there's Aguda. Why vote for 36 Likudnuks just to get one Feiglin? Why get a Bibi who's no better than Barak or Livni? Why doesn't Feiglin go on his own, or is he afraid that he won't get past the minimum threshold? The only one in Israel dumber than Feiglin is Bibi who fights against him.
13. Leftist (Meretz) afraid #5, #7
Mike ,   Haifa   (12.13.08)
You will vote for Meretz anyway. You know that Bibi will be second Olmert. You even use the language of Beilin. As to "moderates", Landau and others said that Bibi will be second Olmert or Sharon with wars and Hamas near Tel Aviv. What is the difference between Bibi and Livni? None.
14. Earthquake in Israeli politics
Marcel ,   Florida   (12.13.08)
The establishment lap dogs and assorted crooks are threatened by this man with principal. Bib is nothing more than a Washington stooge. Netanyahu's downfall is that his meager faith is all used up in the sinking ship America. He's tied his success to a colossal failure, another educated idiot who speaks well in an empty suit. Just a typical week in Israel. A Hamas rocket wounds eight Israeli soldiers, PM Olmert and Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni lie that they will order retaliation and instead, pardon 230 convicted "Palestinian" prisoners. What they forgot to announce was that a think tank in New York called the Council On Foreign Relations (CFR) has banned all real military measures against the "Palestinian" leadership, and they obey the CFR. Netanyahu will make sure that the same agenda continues.Just as Sharon lied and offered a different agenda than Labor opposition Mitzna's removal of Jews from Gaza we saw what happened after he was in power.Netanyahu has proven beyond a doubt that like Sharon he cannot be trusted. The scam of phony Israeli politicians upon the people of Israel continues full force. Netanyahu is a stooge of failed US,foreign agenda as we saw with his previous premireship. He threw Feglin overboard becuase he does not dance to the final solution road Map tune. The corruption of Israel's political system is as bad as that of the empire they religiously serve and obey. We'll get more of the same from the phony Netanyahu and thsoe who continue to get on their knees and pray to the West. The harder Israel has worked for peace the worse things have gotten for Israel and the Jews because Hashem said :"You shall make no covenant with them,(moslems) nor with their gods Exodus 23: 27-33. How stubborn and stupid you are to keep bowing down to your masters in Washington and licking the dust from their feet Feiglin is a threat to Netanyahu and others Jewish idol worshipers because he is right, extremely right.
15. Why Feiglin does not create his own party?
Do the Math   (12.14.08)
Because he knows that his 'revolution' of turning Israel officially into an Apartheid state lacks support. He wouldn't even even get a single seat with a 'Feilin revolution party'. He depends on the people that intend to vote for a different Likud, but Bibi does not depend on the Feiglins.
16. Re: # 4 Davis, Shilo
Ariel Ben Yochanan ,   Kfar Tapuah   (12.13.08)
B"H The real revolution is not voting at all as voting (and running for knesset) means recognizing this non-Jewish Hellenistic institution. See thetorahrevolution.blogspot.com No Jewish reform can ever come from knesset. If Feiglin doesn't recognize the "supreme court" one doesn't understand why he and his followers recognize knesset. Aren't they the same? If not, why not?
17. Israel: Danger ahead, Do a right turn.
Schnorrkell   (12.14.08)
Left politics have failed miserably, Israel is in trouble having lost its deterrence and resolve. Now about to give everything away with no believable guarantees in return. Bibi is tainted - he's been there before and proven to be inadequate.Untrustworthy. Feiglin is surely a daunting character - the enemy understands this guy will serve it up to them. Yes, he is radical ,religious and forthright - uncaring of upsetting world opinion: those factors creating fear amongst many who still think appeasement can work. It cant. We are in the final days of countdown to Iran getting the real means to kill us all with one bomb. Israel on one hand so cares about world public opinion - but on the other has the world's absolutely most pathetic PR machine. It does not matter what Israel does - the world condemns via warped media and the real fact there are many in the world who just dont like Jews anyway. Feiglin understands the seriousness of the security situation and is prepared to take appropriate action. The enemy has shown time and again that it is not negotiable. The list of demands increases by the day. I say, let Feiglin loose at them - his "no negotiable" mindset would be backed by real power to sort them out.
18. Moshe Feiglin should have fought Netanyahu manipulation!
GET REAL ,   USA   (12.14.08)
Feiglin should have gone to the "Supreme Court" on principle even if the Leftist Court would have validated Likud illegal vote manipulation! The fact that Israel Supreme Court and Netanyahu are corrupt are irrelevant. The entire population must be made aware that Israel is NOT a Democracy, Nor is Israel a Jewish State! Netanyahu proved himself a dictatorial despot and the entire world must be made aware of his manipulation of the Likud vote. Netanyahu is not fit to be Prime Minister!
19. Netanyahu shook arafat hand and stabbed Feiglin in the back!
GET REAL ,   USA   (12.14.08)
Netanyahu and Likud are a disgrace and should be repulsed by the Israel voters!
20. There's no such thing as the moderate right
Marcella   (12.14.08)
You're either a patriotic nationalist or you're for national suicide. That's why leftist Kadima's and Netanyahu's moderate right programs are the same. They are both for negotiations with the Arabs aimed at giving up land to create another Arab state, another enemy of Israel, that will be located within meters from your homes. In addition, Netanyahu wants to develop the economy of the PA. Doesn't he remember Lebanon used to be the pearl of the Mediterranean and became a basket case due to ethnic, religious and political infighting? It's not about money. Money flows into the PA and Gaza and gets funneled into corruption and weapons to kill Jews. It's about lack of political and civic maturity to govern themselves, lack of democratic principles, lack of respect for the rule of law. Doesn't Netanyahu remember that the well-educated and affluent British Muslims who terrorized the UK were all about ideology, not about protesting economic deprivation? Doesn't he understand that Islam and democracy are incompatible, and when you get a weak Muslim state, you get Lebanon, and when you get a stronger state, you get Iran. Read Moshe Feiglin's program on his interview with Ynet a few days ago. The guy makes perfect sense. He's for Israel, not national suicide. http://www.ynetnews.com/articles/0,7340,L-3636401,00.html And check with any other country in the world and see how people love and protect their land. Those who want to preserve their land are not called fanatic right wingers. They are called patriots!
21. Politics aside, Feiglin is an honest and courageous leader !
ezra ,   canada   (12.14.08)
22. David #4: I have sympathy for your position
Steve ,   US   (12.14.08)
I might also be inclined to vote for a small, principled opposition party given what Netanyahu and Likud just did. This is corruption, pure and simple. How can Mr. Netanyahu be trusted and how can Likud activists stand by him? I don't trust Netanyahu. He has proven himself dishonorable and faithless. Netanyahu has already signaled, he is eager to negotiate with Israel's enemies; he is eager to work with President-elect Barack Hussein Obama.
23. #14
Steve ,   Fla.   (12.14.08)
Your voice is conspicuously absent from Caroline Glick's latest apologetic column for "Bibi" Netanyahu. Isn't it?
24. FEIGLIN FOR A JEWISH NATION--HOORAY!!
Hymie Zoltsveis ,   NYC, NY, USA   (12.14.08)
Finally, in the midst of ham-eaters and traitors to Hashem, Torah and Israel, a man who seems honest and ready to UNDO the stupidity and suicidal behavior of the HAM-EATERS. PLO---Peres, Livni and Olmert (goniff) as well as Sturmtrooper/Jewish Skull Cracker Barak. May their names be cursed like modern day Hamans. I support Fieglin. Bibi has been a HUGE disappointment. He betrayed us all on Hebron and in FAILING to free Pollard> FIEGLIN FOR A JEWISH HOMELAND
25. WE ARE GOING TO VOTE LIKUD
gabriela ben ari ,   jerusalem   (12.14.08)
regardless of Bibi's manuevers and shady procedures. Yes it's a pity, to put it lightly, he is the head, as for now. But not voting likud will keep Kadima and crappies winning Israel Beiteinu should join Likud! If the survival of Israel matters to them
26. Politics aside, Feiglin is a small k kook
JPS ,   Efrat   (12.14.08)
Israelis will understand that the large K Kook was the famous Rabbi Kook, and Feiglin doesn't even come close to being able to say the name. If you have any idea of how modern nations work, go to Feiglin's website and try to figure out his policies on economics, health, security, trade, transportation, environment or energy. Pick any subject that is crucial for Israel's economy and Feiglin simply isnt' there. He has no clue. And this guy wants to run the country? Read his lips... he can't even form his own party because he'd never get into the Knesset. Nobody except a few thousand people support him, and he got them all to join Likud for that purpose. And he finished where? 1st? 2nd? 5th? No. 20th. Feiglin is a loud, but marginal member of Israel's right-wing fringe. He'll stay there forever because nobody else supports him. He does not speak to the other 98% of the country.
27. yeah!!!!
voice ,   jerusalem   (12.14.08)
finally a little bit of idealism ! How can I work for you {Feiglin}?
28. #26 JPS - YOU DON'T GET IT
Jonathan   (12.14.08)
This is not about whether Feiglin is a good candidate or not. It's about principles. The guy EARNED his 20th spot fair and square. Then he was pushed down to 36 by a despotic party chairman. That's the point. If the voters want Feiglin, they have the right to have him as PM. If you like someone else, then go and campaign for him/her democratically. This habit of playing dirty politics in Israel has got to stop!!!! Israel should not be another banana republic!
