This foolish, passive Israeli government has lost all its credibility. It lost our deterrent capabilities. The entire cabinet should be committed to a psychiatric institution for the criminally insane.

Hi Robert, Israel is not Georia by any stretch of the imagination, but do not let that cloud our judgment. The enemies that Israel fights, collectively, do not represent 1% of Russia's capabilites. If Heaven forbid Russia and Israel were on a direct collision course, Israel would have 0 hope without direct involvement of the US.

This report is consistent with others confirming that Russia IS supplying Iran with advanced weaponry, including the S-300. It's clear Russia is no friend. Yet, in a stunning display of denial and irresponsibility, some in Israel are considering Russia's request to buy advanced UAVs. Perhaps not since the days of the Hellenists have so many in positions of leadership promoted the interests of others against their own people.

If the sale of S-300's prevent Israeli aggression towards Iran, then Russia should be applauded and given a Nobel Peace prize. Israel actually started to think it was in the position to dictate to other nations on matters such as how they choose to defend themselves from aggression and needed a reality check in the worst way.

So now Israel and the US are thinking of attacking Iran's PEACEFUL nuclear power plant? What an outrage! That's a long way from attacking the uranium enrichment facilities. If they attack an Iranian power plant, what about a plant of another country that might get a reactor? Many countries in the area are looking for nuclear power plants. Will Israel launch an attack on Egypt if it gets a nuclear power plant?

It is Russia that is the big danger even bigger than Iran,the Russian bear thinks it can control Iran but it can't and we will all pay a steep price in our blood in the end if the Nukes aren't stopped before they are created!

Does the U.S need anyones permission to sell Israel weapons? Why should Russia be any different? Lets be realistic here. Its a jungle out there. In the end, Iran will get its nuclear bomb. We might be able to delay it for a while but we cant stop it for ever.

Suggesting that the acquisition of missile defence shield will bring about a serious reconsideration on the part of Israel to attack Iranian nuclear sites.We should,however,not forget that even without these missiles being installed,the repurcussion that Iran can offer should also not be disregarded.Keeping in line with their periodical statements emanating from different military personnell,it is easy to write on the talk-back coloumn and treat such statements as being rhetorics on the part of the Iranians.However, when you read the DEBKA column and other military sites,there has always been a cause of concern even without these S-300.
