Robert Bernier ,   Tel Aviv   (12.28.08)
Most residents of the Hamas-ruled Gaza Strip wish to emigrate. A Palestinian poll released This month showed that most residents of the Hamas-ruled Gaza Strip wish to emigrate, compared to 25 percent in the West Bank. According to the poll, 74 percent of Gazans support continuing the cease-fire between Israel and Hamas in the Strip. The poll showed that 64 percent believe the Western-backed Abbas' term should end now. Only 24 percent believe he has another year. The poll was released by the Palestinian Center for Policy and Survey Research. Pollsters surveyed 1270 Palestinians in the West Bank and Gaza. The margin of error was 3 percentage points. The time has come for these people to stop with politics and terrorism and search for a solution for their families based on well-being and peace. Most of the inhabitans of Gaza hope for this solution as explained at : http://xrl.us/bjg97

After the horrible mistakes he commited as a result of his total lack of vision, Peres should keep away of politics and Media. Only a peace process with the acceptance by the Arabs to be resettled in other Arab countries had a chance to bring peace to the region. Financial compensations would be the main reason for the Arabs to accept their resettlement. The best solution for the Arabs would be to leave the borders of “greater Israel,” so that Israel could then annex the West Bank and perhaps Gaza. Advancing this solution, daily, at any occasion, might creat a new perception and bring peace. Any different solution presents a risk of an endless war. For more details : http://xrl.us/bjcgx

birds of a feather flock together, so it seems in gaza.
5. Yes, most Palestinians in Gaza want to immigrate.
Palestinian   (12.28.08)
You know why? Most Palestinians in Gaza are refugees, 75% of them, who originally hail from Ashkelon and Ashdod, and Beer shebaa, and all the towns and villages that Israel erased off the map when it was created in 1948.. Yes, these Palestinians want to move back to their home towns of origin... they do not want to live in stinky refugee maps any more.... It is interesting to note also that less than 25% of Palestinians in the West Bank are refugees.... They also come from the lands on which Israel was created in 1948... Do you see any correlation here? There is no question that Palstinians see the day when the inhabit their original homes coming very soon. No matter what happens. Palestinians will never ever give up. We will restore our homeland and return rebuild our home and towns in Haifa, akkoo, Jaffa, and all over the place.

No, the best way would be for people like yourself to pack their bags, and return to the country they originally made aliyah from. You are not welcomed here in Palestine!

How Interesting! ,   The Rock   (12.28.08)
If they wish to persist in their ways and glorify their terrorists ('police' - my foot) then let them not come crying... They only have themselves to blame. Who cares about who their dead are and what they were doing... their intentions are always the same. Kill the jews. Save your sympathy for those who deserve it.
9. Why would Gazans revolt against the Terrorists they ELECTED?
Jim   (12.28.08)
The Arabs in Gaza elected Hamas precisely because Hamas are terrorists who promised to attack Israel. So, why would they revolt against their government for doing exactly what they elected their government to do? Even Dhimmi Carter certified the election in Gaza was "FAIR" and "DEMOCRATIC" without any coercion.

Hey, genius. You wouldn't be in your camps if your Arab buddies hadn't been hell-bent on denying any type of Israel or Jewish presence in the country from way back in the 1880's. Right..too bad a dispersed people came back to their land after 2000 years..sorry to spoil your party. not to mention much of the land you say is yours actually belong the absentee landlords from Syria and the Ottoman Empire. Nice try. Maybe if the knee-jerk Arab reaction was to discuss things peacefully instead of rioting and Itbach Al Yahud, you'd get somewhere. You aren't getting 'home' anytime soon, so enjoy life in the camps for a while. Maybe some day in the future you will get to visit. Oh wait...you were able to visit.....before the first Intifada. Sorry Charlie.
11. To #6
Shlomo ,   London   (12.28.08)
We have never been popular, ever! Nor do we seek popularity either. We do what's right and for the first time in years even those, often seen as spineless have done what's unpopular, of course we are not welcome, no-one, other than those upholders of the religion of peace or the dhimis, who have not been able to escape to the free world, they are the ones who you you use as scapegoats. So long as you won't get into your head that sharia-law is what goes in Gaza, you still haven't moved one step forward since the 6th century

Go back to the country that you came from. You have no collective right here, only individual rights. In 1799AD there were 70,000 people living in Cisjordan.

Go back to the country that you came from. You have no rights to the land at all. In 1890 there were over 432,000 Muslims, and only 43,000 Jews (from Russia). GET OUT!!!

People make excuses for Gaza saying they have no choice about who runs Gaza. This article proves the opposite. The Arabs in Gaza deserve their fate.
16. Ask Gazans next month after they've tased Shar'ia
Ron ,   Miami, FL USA   (12.29.08)
Gazans will change their tune in a few weeks. On Dec 24, Hamas instituted harsh Sharia laws that will include lashes, amputating hands, crucifying, and execution, The text stresses: "These punishments will not be canceled or pardoned ... except if pardoned by the victim himself... Section 59 of the law establishes that "punishment of death will be enacted on any Palestinian who intentionally does one of the following: Raised a weapon against Palestine on behalf of the enemy during war, was appointed to negotiate with a foreign government on a Palestinian issue and negotiated against Palestinians' interest, performed a hostile action against a foreign country in a way that endangers Palestine in war or in harming political relations, served a foreign army in time of war, advised or helped soldiers to enlist in this army, weakened the spirit or the force of resistance of the people, or spied against Palestine especially during war." Section 84 states that: "Whoever drinks wine, owns or produces wine will be punished with 40 lashes if he is Muslim, and anyone who drinks wine, or angers another person [with wine], or causes him distress when drinking wine in a public place, or goes to a public place while drunk, will be punished with no less than 40 lashes and imprisonment for the minimum of three months."
