unfortunately, and my heart is screaming, shalit is no more. the bastards know the israeli government is not going to negotiate a future cease fire in lieu of getting shalit back. this operation against hamas is not for getting back shalit, but for eliminating hamas once and for all with all its strength and infrastructure, ammunitions and war tech accumulation in their tunnels and bunkers. it has nothing to do with shalit. hamas knows this. it knows that shalit is not a factor here and therefore, they are unable to use him as a bargaining chip any more. so, they already killed him as a revenge. he is not useful to them any longer. pity!!!!

I agree that Shalit is not the main objective of this campaign as you have the rest of the country to think about. However, I would demand him or his body in order for the attacks to stop so we don't wind up trading him for 500 live fighters later on, if ever. If you get Hamas on the ropes, you may as well ask for the moon..who knows...maybe Hamas will give him up if they really believe it will be a step to stopping the IDF from bombing them out of existence.
