31. My talkbacks are not published, so here is the cream
Salameh ,   Gaza, Palestine   (12.29.08)
Zionists of America, Europe and the rest of the universe: Your hatred is well-felt here and everywhere. I hope the death of the 4 kids in Jabalya last night feeds your thirst of blood, I still stick by my word: You will be more surprised when you come in. Cowardly air strikes won't relieve you from the surprises we have for you, Come on. By ALLAH You will be defeated.
32. #27 No one celebrated
Cynthia ,   USA   (12.29.08)
Especially not the Lebanese because Hizbullah aggression turned Lebanon into a graveyard. Then Nasrallah got demoted by Iran for the mess he made. Nasrallah admitted he underestimated Israel's response. I understand the IAF flew over Lebanon today. Thanks for the advice.
33. Hamas plan
Israel Israeli ,   Tel Aviv   (12.29.08)
There is a saying that people always fight their previous war, but it is likely that Hamas is smarter than that. Hamas may choose not to fight. The air force attacks will look disproportionate and within a week Israel will agree to Hamas terms and open Rafiah crossings. Mubarak will be destabilized as an Israeli collaborator while Hamas rule will be strengthened. If Israel makes a ground assault, Hamas might send youthful stone throwers. It is hard to imagine a greater victory for Hamas than images of young men and children confronting tanks with stones when their only request is open borders and food. Israel may also use an invasion to "democratically" elect Fatah with the muzzles of Israeli cannons. Such an illegitimate puppet regime will also serve Hamas interests. So while tactically the IDF is performing better and Barak/Livni are improving in the polls, it is not clear if Israel has a defined aim. And this is where Barak and Livni are repeating the mistakes of Lebanon II.
34. #32 IAF flew over lebanon..
Mamud ,   south lebanon   (12.29.08)
it's ok, with our coward gov't this will happen. don't think hizbollah is afraid of Israel, you know that hizbollah's pleasure is fight Israel. The only problem is your allies in Lebanon, they're doing a good job to provide you some security. we could've wiped them when we had the chance in May, but we don't want the world to say that we kill our own people.
35. Salameh from Gaza
(12.29.08)
How come he can respond here when they have no electricity at all in Gaza and no food and no nothing according to sky news? Must be the only computer still working there!
36. #33 : Funny how the mercaz spawns
(12.29.08)
all these armchair strategists. After withstanding 8 years of constant bombardment, at last the Gaza border communities see their country stepping up to defend its citizens. This is worth more than you will ever understand, sitting there in your safe home in Tel Aviv.
37. to 31 - you are on the wrong side
bruno ,   bouxwiller france   (12.29.08)
Hello Salameh forget this brainwashed nonsense. Allah will neither help you nor your suicide friends. emotions are high but i do not think that anyone normal has pleasure in killing children and helpless women and needy people at all. as far as i can judge from outside, i don't know anyone who has more hatred and lives more by hatred than the hamasites and their followers. the long years of islamistic brain wash bear fruit of desaster for your people. it is a pity how you and your fellows destroy your own lifes and those of your families. don't blame ISRAEL for this.
38. to Mamud, S.Lebanon
bruno ,   bouxwiller france   (12.29.08)
where is your heart? just a black stone left? incredible what you wrote here. watched too many horror films ?
39. to15 marge : the target is hamas
bruno ,   bouxwiller   (12.29.08)
not the civilians. but the civilians are to a great extent also responsible in helping hamas to come to power. no normal person has any interest in killing children and innocents. unfortunately war also produces death and desaster. only very few stubborn people do not understand that hamas has chosen war. Israel does not need any war.
40. #34 You joke me Mamud
Cynthia ,   USA   (12.29.08)
During the Lebanon War in 2006, 1200 Lebanese died for no reason other than Hizbullah needing to prove they could fight Israel. Had Hizbullah not attacked the Israeli soldiers on routine patrol, 1200 Lebanese would still be alive and 4000 Lebanese would not be injured or disabled. The world saw you provoke a war that turned Lebanon into a graveyard. You did kill your own people. It reminds me of the current conflict. The Palestinians provoked Israel into a response and begged Israel to attack them.
41. Hey, Salameh!
BattleCat ,   Virginia, USA   (12.29.08)
Tell us how that "by Allah" stuff works out for you! Ask me, it seems Allah wants an air-to-ground missle crammed up your butt....but maybe I'm seeing things wrong.
42. #40 In fact your army killed all these civilians..
Mamud ,   south lebanon   (12.30.08)
so that people like you have some thing to say. In WWII 60 million people died, and this happens in any war. Killing people is one thing and winning a war is some thing else. we took the soldiers to get back our prisoners, and you started the war to wipe Hizbollah and to get the soldiers back with no question. At this time Hizbollah is far stronger, well prepared and ready for the next war, plus Kuntar is home and Arad some where in the world you will never know, and your soldiers went back in coffins. What about you, You only still talking about how many civilians you killed in the war, and how many building you destroyed. fine but you know it, every thing in that war came to our advantage.
