Why can't the majority around Israel be as nice smart and understand as you. You are a genuine person. Good for you. There must be a way to educate the world especially around us that there is no place for terrorism and terror groups like hizbullah, hamas, jihad and the such. It's a pity and a big shame that the Palestinians don't stand together and ask for help to get rid of hamas ruling Gaza. Gaza should be ruled by Palestinians not hamas. hamas don't care about no one not even for their own people. They didn't even wanted the wounded to go to Egypt! How much does it take for the Palestinians to open their eyes! Wake up and smell the coffee!

So far Israel has had a 90% success rate in their accuracy of targeting HAMAS terrorists. And the women and children killed and hurt were their human shields or family of the terrorists. In either case a perfectly acceptible casualty in war. Futhermore the twisted Terrorist logic follows the same line of thinking that rules the Arab world were women are brutally punished by Arab society for being raped. The Arabs society rapes the woman a second time. Here HAMAS terrorist rain down 7500 rockets on Israel's innocent civilians and cities and then complains when Israel says enough is enough and rises to fight off her attacker. Now is the time for poetic justice where the rape victims kills the rapist and so shall we crush Hamas at Fatah quiety enjoys every minute of revenge by proxy. Pres. Bush said that the Terror Hamas is showing its true colors. The western world fully realizes that Gaza is the world's epicenter of Terror. But Fatah and Arab countries are quietly enjoying Hamas's punishment. No govt. other than the evil Syria and Iran are speaking out. Egypt is containing their side of the border. Only the Moslem crazy extremists are in the streets and they mean nothing.

With the whole world watching and being eager to critizise I wanna wish Israel a great success in this time of crisis. Your country is investing a lot, and victims on all sides are always a great sacrifice. But having been attacked for over two years by constant rocket fire gives every right to defend yourself. It's clear that big parts of the international press and politicians do have double standards about this. I just hope that the military approach is gonna help making the situation better on the long run. What I can't relate to is the strong emotional side of the comments here. "Kill these animals" and "wipe them all out" might be understandable though under these stressful circumstances. The core of these remarks have nothing to do with the reality of an intervention like this though.

I fully support Israel's drive to crush Hamas into oblivion. But I also find it interesting that Ms. Livni, who is being seriously challenged by Netanyahu, has suddenly found some backbone as a warhawk, after years of being a chickenhawk. Better late than never, I think some of this is motivated by her fear of losing power to Bibi. The IDF is a great military which has resources far beyond anything the world knows about. Not just nuclear.

the only way to have successful ground incursion is by leveling the area to the ground. wherever are the places IDF will penetrate IAF must level them down first.

If IDF can't finish Hamas next door. Don't think about Iran miles away. Just get the job done fast and shut them up once and for all.

So rather than help them out we get such great suggestions as "starve them in the dark". "Over 100m Jews and Christians are ready to aid our religious brethren under our G-d, in Israel" - more fool you. 100m muslims are ready under there god too. Isn't everyone a bit old to fight under the cloud of imaginery deities? "This fight is our fight, we cannot allow Islamic fascism to spread and devour US." - so spread christian/jewish facism instead? Facism is facism my friend. "destroy the artificial "Gaza Strip" once an for all as a geographical concept" - many people think that Israel is an artificial geographical concept too. We were promised it in a book and we're prepared to remove people from their houses to get it... "There is only one solution for these things, and that is death to the whole outfit." - they think the EXACT same about you, so where is this going to get us? Why not sit down and negotiate? It's such a unwinnable situation, it's absurd. It's a medieval mindset, and getting worse. I really do despair.

Just so you know over 300 are dead in Gaza. That's alot of dead people. Killed by the Israel Air Force. Grow up and stop trying to be so tuff. Or at the very least, acknowledge the facts.
