31. some comments are very severe...
YOEL   (12.31.08)
He's very friendly towards jews, and showed some courage many times in the past. i remember when he personnaly negociated with a hostages' holder to free children from a Kindergarten. He also faced many times to demonstrators in the street... BUT talking about Israel... He follows the "traditional" french policy: always on the arab side. He claims beeing a friend of Israel, but don't forget he spoke about 67 borders, dividing Jerusalem... during his last speech at the Knesset. We have to remind him Israel's positions. The timing of his visit is not good for us... If he really wants to do something, and we know it's only for palestinians' benefit, he could visit Egypt, Syria and Lebanon. Pals live there in very bad conditions and he would have enough tasksto achieve. From our AUTHENTIC friends, we expect FULL SUPPORT, and not bringing some handicaps in our war against terror.
32. #29 End occupation just a cliche
Cynthia ,   USA   (12.31.08)
Palestinians do nothing to end the occupation. Sending missiles to Israel will not end occupation. No accomplishments past 60 years. Always blaming others for inability to succeed. Gaza is an armpit because Gazans made it that way.
33. Sarko, a man of peace ?
Lili ,   Paris   (12.31.08)
He only wants to (a) be seen on television and (b) sell weapons for his wealthy friends. If either the Israeli or the Palestinians want to keep him, they are more than welcome.
34. He can promote his wifes recordings
Petra ,   usa   (12.31.08)
piss poor but hey, anything for a buck. Everyone shoul stay out of this until Israel wraps up Hamas in a ball and kix it's ass to the curb. French are good w/ white flags but, not too good in battle.
35. Sarko should
Walt K ,   Sherbrooke, Canada   (12.31.08)
Come back to France with all his palestinian friends... cause France is the best friend of Arabs...
