1. Most stores in the Southern fire line closed
Millicent ,   Israels   (12.31.08)
Why I remember that while we were under attack during the Summer Lebanon war here in Haifa bay all the stores were open and believe it or not people were shopping! The kryion Mall was open(the owners refused to close it) so the shop owners had to be opened or be fined, and people actually came to shop and get out of their houses, the supermarkets were fully functioning, the only places that were closed in my area was the Kupat Holim Clalit clinic which I belong to, and the MUNICIPALITY OFFICE(except for the cashier) they weren't there to help us but they wanted to collect taxes! So why are the stores in the South closed? We got hit just as much during the war but people that stayed behind went on with their daily lives!
