The fact that Hamas is weake doesn't mean they are right. We waited for 7 years before doing waht needs to be done. How patient would Egypt have been, 7 days, 7 hours? It's a favorite ploy of the media to whine about "civilians" being hurt, but the reality is that the people of Gaza support the terrorists and therefore have to bear the consequences of their hatred of Israel. Sadly, the only way this can end is if every Palestinian is killed, driven out of the land, or Israel is eliminated. I'm in favor of the first two options!

Did they expect that Israel would not defend herself? Too bad they should not have voted into power a terrorist regime. where has all the money gone that the US, EU,and Russia given them. Israel made a big mistake that they did not get rid of all the arabs in gaza and the west bank during the first wars (6 day war & war of 1973) Israel would have total peace today if they secured the boarders around them and created buffer zones before the boarders too.

Israel targets the terrorists and some civilians are killed because the terrorists use them as human shields. Hamas targets civilians and some IDF are killed mostly because they use themself as shields to protect civilians. HUM! Is their a moral and philosophical difference here that need to be examined?

The UN are a bunch of anti-semtic morons. Where was the UN for the last few months as the Qassam rockets were landing in Israel? But, when Israel retaliates is when the UN decides to open their mouths. It is unfortunate that civilian deaths are happpening, but Israel is not targeting them, they are targeting the cowards (Hamas) that are hiding amongst them. And, I wouldn't doubt that some of these kids are affiliated with Hamas and are being counted as Civilians. I am sure the causality of Hamas rats are greater but they are not reporting it to make themselves seem strong. Israel needs to go in with ground troops and clean out these filthy rats once and for all.
