31. #9 - proves nothing more than a valid immigration policy
William ,   Israel   (01.03.09)
which all other countries have as well...except you Palestinians because the only things you seem to import are weapons and terror exports. I think Ralph might be more surprised when the answers he receives resemble "I was born here but my family is from Tunisia. We were forced out by Arabs with just the clothes on our back. We lost everything". He might also hear things like "My family was from Jerusalem (or Hebron) and attacked in 1929" I would challenge him to ask of typical Pals things like "Did your family migrate here in the 1930s like most of Arabs?" - the answer I bet will be "No, all Palestinians have been here for hundreds of years". They don;t even know their own history and relegate it to Arfats revisionism. Some Gulf states have lax worker immigration policies. Based on what I've heard regarding the ungrateful Pals among them, they might reconsider this policy.
32. #20 - and herein lies the great fallacy of Pal thinking
William ,   Israel   (01.03.09)
1) Pals believe that Palestinians have always existed as a distinct group (despite documented migrations across the region and the term "Palestine" coined only after 70AD. 2) A current Palestinian city proves there was always a Palestine. Jericho is a good example, as is Hebron, both of which are documented as Jewish owned. 3) (I love this one - got it from a YouTube debate) - the Pals were always here and mixed with the Arab migration in 1300. They found no one here (i.e. over 100,000 sq km vacant of life) so were free to populate anywhere without prior claims. 4) Pals say they were both descendants of Philistines AND Canaanites, and Jese was a Palestinian (despite his being Jewish and DNA tests showing Pals as average run of the mill Arabs). 5) No Jews existed before 1880, they are all from Eastern Europe. (Tell that to my family from Hebron since the Roman times) 6) No Arab immigration occured - just a few people into the region, but the majority were here and owned land - Brits documented massive illegal Arab immigration, 67000 over 3 months in 1934 (on average), Turk records showed 95.4% of land owned by Turk sultans. Al Khtyar - say what you want, but prove it. We can, in black and white.

terry You watch something like SKY NEWS and Israels propoganda people say we phone people and warn them we are going to drop a bomb so civilians don't get hurt. Now havn't they caught on that even if you don't phone the target for assasination themselves somebody who did get a call will tell them so they will go run themselves. if this was 1967 we would be phoning the Egyptian pilots and telling them we are about to bomb your airfields so go get yourselves to saftey its only your planes we want to destroy. Whats the point of trying to kill anybody if your going to give them a tip off in advance that your coming? Maybe we should stick red noses on all our soilders and politicians at least then they would look like clowns.
34. #22 - alkhityar, on generational refugees
William ,   Israel   (01.03.09)
"needing nothing exept going back to our home country,,,, even after 10 generations we will have the same feeling and will work hard to achieve that goal regardless of anything " Good. Now you understand both the purpose of Zionism and the claim of Jews to the land, which (according to your Koran) has been given to the Jews, and stolen from them for 63 generations. A great historic wrong has been righted. Your mistake was running or fighting when you could have worked side-by-side liekyour brethren in Yafo, Haifa, Ramle, Lod, Jerusalem....
35. #29 - Rusty keys are not deeds
William ,   Israel   (01.03.09)
"WE R THE OWNERS OF THIS LAND, YOU BORROWED IT FOR A CENTURY, BUT IT MUST COME BACK TO ITS REAL OWNERS one day you will regret what you have written" On the contrary, Jews can shows deeds for millions of dunam of land, purchased from Arab owners at inflated speculative prices. The problem is you hate those who sold and you want it all back. Too bad - the law is in our favor. The rest of the land, a majority stake, was owned by the Turkish govt (now defunct) and Sultans - won by a war, the land is now that of the victors (also intl law) - the same you claim when you exterminated tribes throughout N. Africa to spread Islam by the sword. Your true sense of history begins around 1920s - beyond that its speculative...and what you do know is highly revised when compared to perspectives of multiple angles. I care not to ask a Pal child where he is from. At 7, I can convince him he is an ancient Pharoah if I tell him enough times. Ask a Jew where his ancient fmily is from and they can tell you - Israel.
36. #28 Excuses, Excuses, Excuses
Cynthia ,   USA   (01.03.09)
Al, the grass is always greener on the other side. When Jews lived in Gaza, they built Gaza into an oasis and employed an estimated 5000 Gazans. When the Jews left, the world watched Gazans burn beautiful homes and thriving businesses to the ground. Instead of investing in Gaza and creating a healthy environment for these people, you spend decades pining for what you left behind. Gaza could be beautiful place if you used your resources and all the billions sent to the Palestinians to create a future for your people.
37. To #28
Future1   (01.03.09)
"all 20 years talks with you lead to hell" ...LOL thats what my wife says. OK Al khityar heres your chance to tell us a rational pragmatic solution to this epidemic in gaza. Here is my solution: Fatah will start governing parts of Gaza. There will be two areas in Gaza...Hamas controlled and Fatah controlled. Lets see which area gets more money investments and which area gets more isolated internationally. There will be international monitors to record to the world Hamas breaches in a cease fire As for the end of this bombing...I suggest a ceasefire with a return of ALL prisoners on all sides, open borders monitored by international monitors, seismic equipment to detect tunnels monitored by Israelis and Egyptians. And of course the Fatah return to Gaza.
38. To #9 Al A Simple Answer
Walt ,   Boston, MA   (01.03.09)
Hey Al, let me add my two cents (all you are worth, and I am being generous) as in answer to where the "refugges" in Gaza come from: "The fact that there are those refugees is the direct consequence of the action of the Arab states in opposing partition and the Jewish state. The Arab states agreed upon this policy unanimously..." Emil Ghory, secretary of the Palestine Arab Higher Committee, as quoted by the Beirut Daily Telegraph, on September 6, 1948. Can't afford the price, do not gamble.
39. 8 years of rockets
hy   (01.03.09)
