Watch any protest where there is violence and you will see that when one of the Arab protesters has a clash, its a brief clash and then he sinks back into the crowd of protesters which is then surrounded by women. Their was a saftey problem because Hamas has been attacking to crossings. A pool of reporters is being let in, but the reporters can only get in and out when the crossings are already open for humanitarian supplies transfer. The reporters going in have to sign a statement that they do so at their own risk. Personally, I wouldn't go to Gaza with a 1,000 tank escort. But some people have to learn the hard way.

CNN makes me sick too

Reporters have not been allowed in since November 4th apart from on one day. It was not a safety issue - Erez crossing was open virtually every day during that period - but a political one. The Foreign Press Association took a case to the Israeli courts which then granted limited access to a pool of journalists to enter the strip. That was supposed to happen at the end of last week, but didn't. Do you have any evidence that journalists are now being allowed in? Personally I think the truth will be somewhere between what the IDF and Hamas say. Both sides have their own reasons for lying/exaggerating.

We are at war against a terrorist organization - the Hamas. Hamas does not care whether women, children, the sick or elderly will die. It does not care for it's own people! They are firing missiles from their streets, from their homes, they have turned their schools and mosques into factories manufacturing missiles and bombs! People in the south of Israel have been suffering for more than 8 years from being fired at around the clock with no justified reason! children cannot sleep at night, people are in prolonged anxiety. No goverment in the world would suffer for so long and not retaliate. But when Israel does this to protect our right to exist, the entire world is against us! Did anyone tell Bush to stop war against Al Qaueda? Did they tell him to stop the war in Iraq? Or Putin to stop the war in Chechnia and Georgia? Every country in the world saves its right to defend its citizens, but when it comes to Israel that has been targeted for the past 8 years by Hamas missiles, whos civillians are killed in terroris attacks by barbarians that allow themselves to destroy us just because we are Jewish! we never get the right to live in peace! You don't need to look at foreign sources to see the falsity of IDF claims. Even other Israeli papers like Haaretz do not believe in the statistics given by them. Most of the 23 people killed so far today were civilians shelled in a central market. What a brave army who is afraid of letting independent reporters in..

In true fact, most of the world supports Israel. Some so called "news' services are owned by Saudis, not bound to be 'factual' or even report the obvious. QUIT watching CNN ! The bias present in their videos and reporting shows their true colors. Another item, I was reading the other day where it was suggested that for reporting purposes coming from Israel's media sources to get really good ENGLISH speakers !! and that also goes for the IDF media people .YOU HAVE TO COMMUNICATE EFFECTIVELY IN A LANGUAGE that a lot of the world listens to !! You don't have a chance against the Al Jezzeras, CNN's, if you cannot justify why you are going into Gaza , or any other military moves without telling your side of the confrontation EFFECTIVELY!. Israel needs to play the same game,but better .
