1. palis and Jordan:A mutually beneficial relationship
Arie ,   BaGolan   (01.04.09)
The palis under their great leader ( a man known for having stolen billions from the palestinian people) tried to kill Abdullah's father and take over Jordan (they claim Jordan is an occupying State as well); the palis supported saddam hussein when he fired rockets at Jordan during the Persian Gulf War; and they have since engaged in numerous terrorist acts against the Jordanians killing scores of civilians. I can see why abdullah cherishes them so much!
2. Jordan
Talula ,   Israel   (01.04.09)
Incredible how they didn't want to reevaluate ties with the Palestinians involved in lobbing rockets into our country. The little Hashemite Kingdom didn't offer to absorb the Palestinians - knowing that Jordan is their rightful home. Let them go sod themselves if they think we are going to sit here and be fired on day in and day out. Jordan also didn't do anything to stop the rocket fire.
3. The Arab countries are circling

4. Jordan is Palestine
Jordan is Palestine   (01.04.09)
5. Humanitarian crisis
Seth ,   Miami   (01.05.09)
You think the economy in Gaza is bad? Wait for Jordan to sever its ties with Israel and watch its economy collapse on itself.
6. We should return the favor and expel their ambassador.
Andy ,   ramat hasharon   (01.05.09)
7. Sure, we'll send them your way.
Ypip ,   Canada   (01.05.09)
'order Israel to immediately open all of the crossings' oh wise and benovelent King.
8. jordan - is a Palestinian State! go there all arabs
Adam   (01.05.09)
Reminder to Jordan: September 1970 is known as the Black September (Arabic: أيلول الأسود) in Arab history and sometimes is referred to as the "era of regrettable events." It was a month when Hashemite King Hussein of Jordan moved to squash an attempt by Palestinian organizations to overthrow his monarchy. The violence resulted in the killing of 7,000 to 8,000 from both sides.[1] Armed conflict lasted until July 1971 with the expulsion of the PLO and thousands of Palestinians to Lebanon.
9. Let Hamas psychopaths escape to Jordan!!
David ,   Hartford USA   (01.05.09)
Let them demand sharia law upon every citizen of Jordan. The MPs that are so quick to judge Israel will be scared sh-tless to walk out of their homes. They and their children will be imprisoned or tortured for wearing 'western' clothes and having 'western' haircuts. Typical Arab blustering to sound tough to their constituents. Either the Arab countries are tired of all this crap and will decide to let Israel live in peace or they won't. And so far the answer from Hamas is: 'we won't.' So while it is a tragedy that civilians are killed and injured in war, Hamas AND THE IDIOTS WHO ELECTED THEM are fully to blame. GO IDF! DO WHAT MUST BE DONE! The world is with you- no matter what a few thousand ranting morons would have the world believe.
10. ISRAEL SHOULD TAKE **BACK JORDAN* IT BELONEGS TO ISRAEL.
..............DACON9   (01.05.09)
AND IT SHOWS YOU HOW STUPID THESE ARABS ARE..THEY WILL RE EVALUATE A RE;LATIONSHIP WITH A STRONG GROWING ECONOMY IN BALANCE WITH CAMEL RASING TERRORIST \ THANKS DACON9 jewswithviews@gmail.com
11. Jordan is not the problem, Israel is!!
Jordan ,   Jordan   (01.05.09)
The only reason Jordan has not severed ties with Israel is in the interests of regional stability (and most probably USA requests), and has nothing to do economically. Jordan's economy is developing at a much faster rate than Israel. Take a look at the Dead Sea - Israeli side only has inferior hotels that wouldn't pass as a 3-star hotel on the Jordanian side! Royal Jordanian is forever expanding, while El Al is one of the most incompetent airlines in the world - look, even the FAA in the USA downgraded your aviation rating to the same level as Zimbabwe and Uganda - congratulations Israel!! The money invested in Jordan is primarily Gulf Arab money....so Jordan has nothing to lose economically by cutting ties To number 6, are you stupid? If Jordan kicked out your ambassador, they would take theirs out of TEL AVIV (not Jerusalem - Jerusalem is NOT your capital) before making such a move!! Jordan has always tried to be peaceful and do what is in the best interests of the entire Middle East, always acting as a peace moderator. However, Israel always obstructs this, and Jordan does not have the time or patience to put up with Israel's incompetenece, and needs to put its national interests first.
12. Jordan says will 'reevaluate' relations with Israel
arnold potter ,   Leeds,UK   (01.05.09)
Enough talk re Jordan, Palestine ,etc. Does this all really matter re Jordan's reevaluation. Does it harm Israel ? Does it harm us and if so how much? opinions plaese
13. How many ?
Serge ,   Antwerp, Belgium   (01.05.09)
How many rockets shot on its cities should Israel tolerate to keep good relations with Jordan ?
14. Will they re-evaluate US funding as well?
The Business   (01.05.09)
Which is premeditated on this peace treaty?
15. What choice
Petero ,   Toronto Canada   (01.05.09)
Lets face it. Amman has little choice but to make meaningless statements like this to placate the arab street. The fact is that Amman will do absolutely nothing to stop this and has only to think of their own history with Black September to prevent them from taking a true leadership role against Israel.
16. No. 11
michael ,   melbourne australia   (01.05.09)
How hypocritical can you get? In the past jordan has slaughtered thousands of palestinians, the numbers that have been killed by Israel are small in comparison. Take your holier than thou attitude and put it where the sun dont shine.
17. Perfect!
Schvach   (01.05.09)
The existence of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan is the #2 underlying cause of all of Israel's problems with its Arab neighbors (the #1 cause is Islam's hatred of Jews and Judaism). Get rid of the Hashemite royal family (like the Bolsheviks did with the Romanovs of Russia) and the Palis will have their homeland.
18. #11-Reality Check
Arie ,   BaGolan   (01.05.09)
1. Jordan sided with saddam hussein against the freedom loving countries in 1991 2. Your allies, the palis (who are actually Jordanians) tried to overthrow your king and assassinate him 3. Jordan is dependent on Israel for trade-shut it down and see who suffers 4-WE will determine our capital and it will REMAIN Jerusalem. Jordan has no say 5-Jordan "always peaceful?" - Jordan tried three times to eradicate Israel - and lost miserably each time leaving thousands of dead jordanians. Jordan assisted hussein when he was firing SCUDs at Israel in '91 6. Jordan does not have the patience? The Mossad should STOP warning Abdullah and his team every time the islamonazis plan to assassinate him and his family
19. furious
PW ,   Virginia USA   (01.05.09)
Yes the Jordanian is furious that Israel does not destroy Hamas like they did on "Black September"
20. If The Jordanians Feel Pity For Hamas....
Bill Foonman ,   Jacksonville USA   (01.05.09)
Let them move to Jordan.
21. its just the palestinian state so who cares
zionist forever   (01.05.09)
The palestinian state wants to sever diplomatic relations with Israel. i am just surprised they didn't do it earlier. The palestinian state of Jordan is the one arab state that always wanted peace with Israel they might withdraw their ambasedor then when a ceasefire is declared after they had their chance to tell us how evil Israel is they will be back.
22. Get your facts right before commenting!!!
Jordan ,   Jordan   (01.05.09)
I will reply to each of your comments....so you can get your facts right 1. Jordan sided with saddam hussein against the freedom loving countries in 1991 --- But they did not side in 2003....what is your point? Jordan was serving its national interests at the time, and Iraq was a very significant economic partner!! 2. Your allies, the palis (who are actually Jordanians) tried to overthrow your king and assassinate him --- An organisation tried to overthrow the King, not every Palestinian person! Incase you forgot, our Queen is Palestinian.....the Palestinians in Jordan are 99% loyal to The Kingdom 3. Jordan is dependent on Israel for trade-shut it down and see who suffers --- Absolute crap. Israel just wishes this. The only thing Israel contributes to Jordan is bottled water tourists leave in sites such as Petra! 4-WE will determine our capital and it will REMAIN Jerusalem. Jordan has no say --- Really? Last time I checked, diplomatic missions for the most part were located in Tel Aviv?? 5-Jordan "always peaceful?" - Jordan tried three times to eradicate Israel - and lost miserably each time leaving thousands of dead jordanians. Jordan assisted hussein when he was firing SCUDs at Israel in '91 --- You Israelis are always so bitter. You keep bringing up the past when you are the ones who say you want peace. Jordan has moved on, clearly you have not!! 6. Jordan does not have the patience? The Mossad should STOP warning Abdullah and his team every time the islamonazis plan to assassinate him and his family --- For the record, King Hussein also did warn against Syrian and Egyptian strikes if you read about history, well before the peace agreements. As I said, Jordan serves in the long-term interests of the Middle East.... I am not supporting and do not support Hamas....at no time did I say I am supporting Hamas! I was merely making comments on the Jordan-Israel relationship only....but once again, you blow any criticism out of context How hypocritical can you get? In the past jordan has slaughtered thousands of palestinians, the numbers that have been killed by Israel are small in comparison. Take your holier than thou attitude and put it where the sun dont shine. --- Really? History would say otherwise! I don't need to take my attitude anywhere, I am merely stating the truth. Don't like it? Get Over It!!!
23. Hahahahahaha!
Zohan ,   Tel Aviv   (01.05.09)
All the rich Arab monarchs has always been the target of the poor, always on the run, homeless Islamic terrorists. Sewer all you want to say King Abdollah$$. Fact of the matter is, you need Israel's protection...and of cos Uncle Sam too.
24. The last time the jordanians supported islamofascists
Arie ,   BaGolan   (01.05.09)
It was during the time called Black september http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_September_in_Jordan
25. will they take their palestinians back
shmujew ,   unholyland   (01.05.09)
Take your "palestinians" back Jordan we really can do without the harrasment
26. send Hamas to Jordan
Psalms 83 ,   Selah   (01.05.09)
Would King Abdullah II put up with thier rocket launching antics.... I suspect not
27. OVER 75% OF JORDAN IS "PALESTINIAN"! TRANSFER ALL ARABS TO
JORDAN!   (01.05.09)
28. Time to rip up false treaty with Jordan!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Jordan is palestine   (01.05.09)
29. You are all so ignorant!
Jordan ,   Jordan   (01.05.09)
You are all so ignorant - everyone in Jordan has always been behind the royal family, be it the late King Hussein, or the current King Abdullah. The king needs Israel's protection? bahahahaha. This makes me laugh And for all the comments "Jordan is Palestine". You are wrong. Jordan is Jordan, and Palestine is Jordan! Before 1948, they were one country....ever wondered why the West Bank is called the West Bank? It was because, modern-day Jordan was the East Bank, and Palestine was the West Bank. This is my last comment, the ignorance of some of the comments here has made me laugh for such a long time - thanks!!
30. Jordan - SHUT UP
Amenotep ,   canada   (01.05.09)
Obviously these ignoramouses want Israel to put up with continual rocket attacks also. We know what these arabs would say if the rockets were falling on them. Hit the Ignore button!
