Previously, soldiers were killed by friendly fire. Now, another soldier was killed by errant tank shell. I am pretty sure all the soldiers were killed by their fellow soldiers rather than by Palestinian mujahidins.

Friendly fire deaths are a fact of life. Get over it. Pretty devestating for the families though. Still, war is hell. But we all know that. Now go on, and win.

I know it must be so hard for all Israeli citizens who are torn between wanting peace and trying to protect their citizens. You have no choice but to exist you must fight! From your media coverage it is evident that every soldier who is killed is mourned by all the country. Britain should learn to value its own soldiers as you do. The British Media are of course taking their usual 'disproportionate' stance and against Israel. I often wonder where Hamas are in this conflict as the Media hardly every mention them. If this is what you "observe", then you either desparately need a new pair of glasses, or it must be some very good stuff you're smoking, dude... First, Hamas CONSTANTLY fires indiscriminantly at Israel, about10000 rockets in the past 8 years (including 150 of them during the "truce" period) toward civilians in the surounding towns. Every day I see their "discriminate" missiles falling on my town. Second, if the IDF would have wanted to "indiscriminately kill children", then you must agree with me, that in this case, there would have been no need for our soldiers to risk their lives in a ground operation, we could have simply fired artillery at Gaza from the outside. Third, the vast majority of Palestinians killed in this operation (about 75%-80%) are armed Hamas terrorists. Hardly "indiscriminant killing" by the IDF. Fourth, the fatalities today were one Major, one staff-seargent, one corporal, and a captain. All good soldiers, but not exactly that "high caliber". Fifth, they weren't hit by Hamas, but by our own friendly fire. Of course Hamas and their supporters like you, would ignore the facts and rush to get credit they do not deserve... But the truth is - Israel has no reason to lie here. We are not Paliwood.
