2. A VERY positive thing.
Gideon Reader   (01.07.09)
A gracious going away gift from Prez.Bush, for which I thank him.
3. Get The US Troops Out of There!
emanon ,   USA   (01.07.09)
The US military does not need to be stretched any thinner than it already is. This will become one more quagmire. We need US troops home NOW to protect and strengthen our own borders.
4. #3, Emanon
Lou ,   Deal, USA   (01.07.09)
Actually, think of this US millitary activity as training for what may be or may come on some of there own borders. It is a good think for the people of the US, Israel, Egypt and even the few good people in Gaza.
5. Bush sending troops to die in Rafah 4 Israel, Iraq not enugh

im from Gaza near the border , and i have short message for Barak and Olmert.... insane if you think that we will fall or cry due of killed civilians , till the last child of our generations we will resist you. we ready for being all in the heaven with Muhamad peace be upon him .... come on and we will give israeli defence forces our special Roses of Death
8. 13 more days
US citizen ,   Syria   (01.07.09)
for a new administration ...looks like 100 years . the world will hit the US where it hurts ...their pockets....... if the continue to take sides in this . in the medical field ..amputation is the last option ..after Gaza's crimes those 2 people need to be separated . jerusalem ,right of return to any israeli or palestinian to show up and claim his passport regardless if they want to live there or not . anything else is a waist of time . speaking about time .. after what happened today in turkey for an israeli soccer team where they had to run for their lives ...your politicians need to realize that tthis will happen in Hifa and Yafa as well ..
9. Another Bush crime
Mikesailor ,   Miami, FL   (01.07.09)
Absent treaty obligations of which there are none, the US has no right to assist either Egypt nor Israel in containing Gaza. US troops are authorized ONLY to prevent hostilities between Egypt and Israel as part of the Cam[ Gavid Accords and any other use is blatantly illegal.
10. Actually, Nasrallah Lost in 2006
kenstee   (01.07.09)
Not a bullet has he fired at Israel since then. Have you not noticed he has only words, not deeds to answer the smashing of Hamas in Gaza? So, either he lost the war or is a true coward. All he does is scream and cry like a scared old woman. It is his moment for jihad and martyrdom but I guess he is too comfortable at home to help.
11. Chill out emanon #3
Stu ,   Michigan USA   (01.07.09)
The Army Corps of Engineers are not "troops." They are not "combat engineers." They are there as consultants and experts and I am sure there are very few of them. They have specific expertise with dams, bridges, and TUNNELS. They are not fighting for Israel - they are there to help facilitate the end to smuggling weapons from Egypt. What's your beef?
12. Tunnel Targets
mark ,   Canada   (01.07.09)
The tunnels bring in arms to criminals. Blow them. The tunnels allow Hamas criminals to escape from the people of Gaza. If the people of Gaza had any spine, they would now hang each and every Hamas monkey they can find. Blow the tunnels.
13. Now the US is physically and directly
GUH   (01.07.09)
participating in the atrocities.
14. don't come here for a while
PA , pennsylvania ,   pittsburgh   (01.07.09)
13000 Alcoa employees were pink slipped in pittsburgh today .. the company lost a 2,5 billion dollars contract with Kuwait city 2 days ago .. of course they did not tell them why they lost the contract ..but the truth is out and you are not going to like this one .. the parliment in kuwait ,the islamic opposition bloc ,blocked the deal from passing in protesting the US support of your (aggression in GAZA ) ...they said .. no comment .
15. #5 The troops are in EGYPT,not Israel.We've had a post there

Irmo, how is Abba? R.
18. Only the top ten per cent of the US Army Military Academy at
Rivkah   (01.07.09)
West Point, New York, are eligible for the Corps of Engineers. These are top notch people academically and my Great uncle Charles (USMA class of 1904) would be so pleased that Egypt turned to America for the best help to be found. Great Uncle Charles was in the US Army Corps of Engineers and served in the Philippines and many theaters of war in World War I and World War II. Hoo-Rah for the Corps of Engineers.
19. #7, I thought you were all out of electricity
israeli ,   israel   (01.07.09)
But nice to see you posting. Just stay put , the IDF is on its way to you.
20. US sends military to Israel to protect arab muslim occupiers
marlene ,   Philadelphia, USA   (01.07.09)
The US of allah makes me puke! They border the Israeli towns to protect the arab muslim occupiers but did nothing to protect the Israeli Jews in Sderot, Ashkelon, Ashod, etc. America will not prevail in these end times.
