must be reading the same misinformation. By the way, Israel withdrew from Gaza in 2005. Hamas brought the IDF back with their bloodthirsty aggression. The crossings remain open as long as the Palestinians don't create a security problem.

in my opinion Israel forces should seize and occupy a strip of land that forms the border of Gaza and Egypt. Israel will then be able to control weapons to Gaza. no, Israel will never completly stop such imports. in time, Israel will have to hand control to UN but may be able to be on site to observe. unfortunately Hamas and Hezballah are going to be around for a long time, much to the threats it delivers to Israel. Israel will have to learn to contain such incursions with the least amount of damage and loss of life to itself. there will not be a real peace in the area for the forseeable future. that is a reality! very sad for all, including the antagonists.
