1. Good, take Arabs from Judea, Samarian and Gaza with you to
Jewish Refugee ,   U.S.A.   (01.10.09)
their legal land of Jordan. Israel should open a carridor so people from Gaza could go straight to Jordan. So they could build Hamas in Jordan, overthrow their government. What else???? Any Ideas.
2. jordan recall
iraj   (01.10.09)
This is classic arab work. They blast israel as committing nazi atrocities, they cut relations and use terrible invective, while privately hoping that israel smashes hamas. Likewise, iran wouldn't dare take on israel directly, they do it through hezbollah and hamas proxies. Syria, the headquarters of terror period, invented the word assassin and that tells you the whole story. Bush asked Olmert why would you give the golan back and how could you trust assad. Olmert then went on with vertical and horizontal integration. What a shmuck! Golan is not going back and if does it will be over some dead bodies. We don't need any more missiles. Oddly enough, 3 politicians who strongly backed the gaza withdrawal unilaterally which led to hamastan rockets, were Ramon, an idiot, Livni, a novice and Olmert, a weak dumbell. So no more concessions. Arabs want peace, then Israel can offer peace. The land of israel stays with israel.
3. Big Deal. He will sorely missed,...

...doing whatever he does. So he drives home, has some soup. A couple of Bepsis and comes back in a few days when the crap has dried.
4. Jordanian hypocrisy
Maurice ,   Montreal, Quebec   (01.10.09)
Remeber Black September? It was a month in 1970 when King Hussein of Jordan moved to quash the autonomy of Palestinian organizations and restore his monarchy's rule over the country. The violence resulted in the deaths of tens of thousands of people, the vast majority Palestinian. Armed conflict lasted until July 1971 with the expulsion of the PLO and thousands of Palestinian fighters to Lebanon. And now Jordan is blaming Israel? This is what I call hypocrisy!

8. Can you blame them.
Daniel ,   San Jose, CA USA   (01.10.09)
Recalling your ambassador is minor. I don't blame them. the quote is Also from Al-Jazeera. Jordan needs to show a strong front to the Arab world. In the end it is lip service. during the last intafada Jordanian military had to deal with Palestinian protests in Jordan and they don't like them much either. I do understand that the fighting creates instability in the region and it needs to be worked out. If you notice it wasn't that Israel needs to pull back but that Israel and Hamas need to agree on peace. I remember when the kings father passed away. It was a sad day indeed. I was there when he landed his own army helicopter for a visit to Israel. They may add some lip service to wanting the fighting to stop but in the end they also understand that Hamas needs to change from it's core to strive for peace and build a Palestinian state. None of which has happened up till now.
9. Democratic Election Please
Zen ,   London   (01.10.09)
King Abdullah how about you stop your whining and give the palestinians an election? Then they can have the palestinian state your family has stolen and we can all live in peace. The Hashemites will be wiped off the map before Israel.
10. Jordan is Palestine
Khalil ,   Amman, Jordan   (01.10.09)

Marcelo ,   World   (01.10.09)
And thousands of palestians were massacred by King of Jordan police when they tried to overthrow the king. The so called Black September. By the way, did the Security Council met when Russia massacred thousands of Georgians with carpet bombs...? Ahh, I forgot, they were not jews. Biased media forgot also that almost 400 people of Darfur were massacred in a single day last week. Did the Security Council met too?

17. Jordan is "Palestine"
Hinda ,   SF Bay Area   (01.10.09)
Please King Abdullah - denounce your right to the throne and give the land to the rightful heirs -- the "Palestinians" as your family mainly were from Saudi Arabia - as the Hashemite Kingdom was kicked out of Arabia by the Sa'uds.

Elad Lending ,   Israel   (01.10.09)
What cowardice. Shame on the Jordanians.
24. Jordan? That's rich...
Joan ,   Haifa   (01.10.09)
The Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, which was created for the Arabs who lived in "Palestine" by the British during the Mandate period, brutally supressed its own Palestinians. The Hashemites were certainly not Palestinians themselves. I think it would only be fiting for *all* Muslims then to throw out the Jordanian ambassadors. Not too likely, eh?
25. This doesn't mean much
Yasmine ,   Israel   (01.10.09)
Look, I don't think King Abdullah is a fool. He knows very well about his father's problems with the Palestiniansthat culminated in Black September . There's no great love lost between him and the Palestinians. Recalling his ambassador is just a trivial political move to keep his country's Palestinians from rioting *and* to silence Jordan's critics in the Arab world.

Patrick M. Griffin ,   Fulton, USA   (01.20.09)
